   CHAPTER 1
Mother

   My eyes widened as I saw someone walk into the crowd, as I gasped.

"Is there something wrong, Freya?" The lady next to me worriedly asked when she noticed my reaction.

"No, Your Highness, there's nothing wrong.. I'm just feeling a little ill," I took a deep breath.

"I'm just feeling a little under the weather." I pretended to smile

~~~
I walked rapidly while untying my hair.
I carefully closed the door and took off my heels. I was perched atop a railing. I'm fortunate that my room is on the third story, but I can't guarantee that I won't die.
A female once fell from a peak higher than a three-story structure, but I'm not sure what the precise height was. With a shattered leg, one broken shoulder, and a damaged back, she made it through.
I sighed as the breeze blew across my hair and dress, making it dance. I'm not ready for death just yet... Tears streamed down my cheeks.
This isn't my place in the world... I don't want to die; dying was terrifying. Even more, tears welled up in my eyes. I cried more every time I wiped away my tears.
I recall seeing her face in a novel, despite my hazy memory.
After calming down, I stepped down from the railing. So... I'll go make a plan... "Huh?"
I investigated the source of the noise, which turned out to be my room. The next thing I knew, I was falling through the air. On the spot where I was just, I noticed a figure. What brought you here? Why are you here? Was I even meant to exist in this world?
I made direct eye contact with their eyes, blue. The person turned around as soon as he heard footsteps and fled away like the wind. My head slammed onto the ground.
My vision became increasingly hazy. As soon as the maids discovered my body resting on the ground, they screamed while I closed my eyes.
My head hurts after I awoke from the shock. I carefully touched my head, and after a few seconds, I remembered falling from a good height. It didn't make much sense to me; thus I don't think it was a dream.
Was I able to recover on my feet after the fall? I have a better chance to survive; after all, a three-story structure isn't that big...
In my room, a large number of people rushed in a hurry, and the blur was gone after a few seconds.
"M'lady, is there anything wrong?" one of the people said. She was dressed as a maid.
I'm pretty sure this has happened previously... Is this anything deja vu? People, I've heard people experience dreams in their dreams. Maybe that was a dream that foreshadowed my future...
"My... lady?" The same maid asked
Yes, that's correct. They've found their way in. "I'm fine, thank you," I said as I looked at them before answering her question.
.
My new mother, the one stepping out of the carriage. I smiled gently and warmly
The one walking out of the carriage is my new mother. As she stepped out, I smiled softly and gracefully bowed.
She patted my head and smiled gently and warmly while her eyes were closed, saying, "I'm back."
As she patted me on the back, I got chills.
I can't seem to get used to an older woman's childish behavior; should I trust her? Is she merely acting this way to look perfect in front of others?
