Stiles spun around on his desk chair, turning towards the door as it opened, he had expected it to be his father at the door, saying goodbye before he headed out for his night shift, giving him a list of things not to do in the meantime, such as commit a crime that he would have to follow. For once, Stiles hadn't had any intention of going out and causing trouble, he planned to stay at home with a Star Wars movie compilation, a pizza, and a bowl of popcorn. At least those were his plans until he had been standing at his door. A pair of brunettes who smiled at him wearily, it was the first time the two of them had ever turned up at his door together, that had immediately alerted him that something was going on, trouble, apparently, his plans for the night were to get involved in it after all. Kinsey stood with her hair pulled back into a ponytail and a leather jacket, a duffel bag thrown over her shoulder, one over Allison's too who stood in a dress, boots, and a bun in her hair. Maybe it was a silly observation of his, but the only time he saw the two of them with their hairs up, was when they were gearing up for something hunter-related, or at least for Kinsey, gym class. Which at this time of a night, certainly wasn't in the equation.
While Allison laid out the bag on his bed, Kinsey gave the boy a quick, but detailed, explanation of why they had turned up here tonight. In simple terms, it was to ignore the warning both girls had been given by Scott to stay out of the way of the Alpha pack, which wasn't exactly an easy job considering they lived in the apartment beneath the pack. But what had concerned them the most was Isaac's text, he and Scott were on the way to the abandoned mall, Scott had tried to sneak out without him noticing, he wasn't entirely sure if this was the kind of thing that Kinsey meant when she had told him to look out for Scott, but he had text her anyway.
"You think he's going to see Deucalion?" Stiles questioned, unsure whether the brunette girls had read too much into the situation. Scott could have just gotten sick of being around Isaac, it couldn't be hard, he felt that way every time he was around the wolf. "He's not stupid enough to go alone." The boy shook his head in disbelief, the two girls narrowing their eyes at him. "Is he?"
"Scott may be willing to play fair, but I doubt Deucalion is," Allison told the boy.
"So what do we do?"
"We fight fire with fire." Kinsey deadpanned, dropping the duffel bag of weapons onto the boy's bedroom floor, his eyes widening as she unzipped it, revealing just how many of those weapons she had brought to defend them tonight. The brunette pulled out a rolled-up blueprint of the mall, handing it to Stiles, he was much better at reading them than she was, he had been given the title of the brains of this mission, she and Allison were the braun.
