It was supposed to be a normal Sunday night, a night where two teenagers who were trying to figure out what they were lounged around and watched a movie, Stiles's favorite movie if they were going to be precise about it. The two had agreed to hang out more, making up for an entire summer of avoidance, the two knew that there were mutual feelings between them now, but it wasn't as if the two of them could jump into a relationship, there had still been those summer months of not talking, they had both changed in that time. And not just their hairstyles, maybe Stiles had grown out his buzzcut and Kinsey had given her hair a tint of red, but who they were had changed too. The brunette girl had spent months trying to grow as a person, heal from the death of her aunt, as well as her mother. Stiles had spent that time trying to grow too, trying to be a stronger individual within himself, not someone obsessed with getting the girl, though he knew now, that hadn't quite worked out for him. He was still just as insane about the brunette sitting beside him, glued to his favorite movie.

Sometimes Scott would come over and hang out with them like old times, just the three of them but it was hard for him to be around the two of them now without feeling like the third wheel, he knew how the two of them always felt with him and Allison now. Tonight, however, he'd stayed at home, studying as a part of the be-a-better-Scott-McCall program.

The Stilinski house was the only place for the two of them to hang out. Her own home was off-limits, Chris would kill her if he found out about Stiles, she could remember how he'd reacted when they had faked a relationship, let alone when they considered beginning a real one, if her father didn't kill him, Chris might have. Derek's loft, which had practically become like a second home to the girl since finding out she was a Hale was a place neither visited as much after what happened there and since hearing the tale of Derek's teenage years, none of them had returned. Even if they had, if Peter was there he was sure to annoy the two of them the entire time, he had made it clear he didn't like the idea of his daughter with Stiles, he liked the two alone, frankly, he may just be his favorite human in this town, but he didn't like the thought of his daughter being with anyone. It was a natural fatherly instinct that he never thought he would have. He'd been proven wrong.

That left Stiles's house, and school.

Noah wasn't opposed to the idea of the two using his home as their hangout, he enjoyed having a female presence in his home again, even if it were just for a few hours. And it stopped his son from moping around the house complaining that he was bored, or trying to pry some details on a recent case out of him. He much rathered the two of them under his roof than out causing the usual amount of trouble they caused. They seemed to have an act for it.
