KC's POV

Zane: Are you absolutely sure?

KC: K..Kawaii~Chan isn't..

Zane: You don't know, or you don't remember?

KC: ...

Zane: Do you think that in any of your failed relationships, any of your exes are abusive, obsessive, possessive..?

KC: Mm..K-Kawaii~Chan doesn't think so..no, they were good guys, mostly..

Zane: Mostly?

KC: One of them was bipolar. They would lash out, but they wouldn't intentionally hurt Kawaii~Chan. Let alone burn my house down...

Zane: Did you really forget?

KC: What are you tal-

And before Kawaii~Chan was able to even finish her sentence, Garroth bursted through Zane's bedroom door. He smiled as he giggled as if he was a high school girl going to a slumber party. Zane quickly removed his hands from KC's and coughed violently. Garroth glanced at Zane with a puzzled look, while Kawaii~Chan chuckled nervously, blushing as she did so.

Garroth: By the way, why'd you guys go into this room alone? Why was the door locked?

Zane: Uh..I can explain.

Garroth: were you two busy doing something suspicious?

KC: No!

Garroth: Are you guys sure? You're very red! Both of you!

Zane & KC: Huh?!

Zane and Kawaii~Chan looked at each other and glared at Garroth after their eyes interlocked. Garroth giggled and sighed, placing the stuff he held onto the floor.

Garroth: Alright, enough teasing. Kawaii~Chan, I'll help you get to my house.

KC: N-no! It's fine! Kawaii~Chan has her own car!

Garroth: Oh right! Well, why don't I give you the address?

KC: Well alri-

Zane: I'LL TAKE HER!

Zane yelled, shocking both Garroth and Kawaii~Chan. They both violently turned to Zane, who sat back down and sighed. Garroth looked at Zane, then at KC. He smiled and placed a hand onto Zane's head. To which Zane looked up at his older brother, with this worried look on his face. Kawaii~Chan couldn't tell if it was for her, or for himself. Garroth took a big sigh as he slightly smiled, speaking right after.

Garroth: Zane, don't worry. Kawaii~Chan will get there safely. No need to take her, she's an adult.

Zane: B-but-

Garroth: No baby brother, there are no buts. KC is a strong and independent woman who's more than capable of getting someplace on her own.

Zane: ...

Garroth: You have her number, if you're worried about if she gets safely there, why don't you text or call her to make sure?

Zane: ..how can I trust DANTE won't try anything?

Garroth: Pardon?

Zane: Garroth, please. Did you forget about Dante and KC's relationship?

Garroth: Oh! Yea but why are you so worked up about it?

KC, nodding: Mhm..he would come to Kawaii~Chan's work space, we finally were able to ban him for harassment but..

Garroth: Irene..I'm so sorry Kawaii~Chan...I-I didn't know.

KC: I-it's okay! Kawaii~Chan didn't talk much about her love life to anyone much in high school.

Zane: Understandable, no one would like to hear about your love life anyways.

KC: Hey!

Garroth: Zane!

Garroth: And we're back to aggravated Zane. Well, I'll help you grabbing your stuff, KC.
