New Day

Nana's POV

I woke up yawning awake from the sound of birds chirping. I stretched my body as I groggily get up from the bed and getting up to change my clothes for the day. I decide to wear a hot pink shirt and dark blue ripped jeans. I put on white socks on and slip on my black shoes on, then look at myself in Garroth's
full-length mirror. I smile as I decide to tie my hair into a waterfall hairstyle. Once I had finished, I nodded my head as I grabbed my phone, keys, and then walked out of the room.

The minute I walked out, I could hear someone playing video games in the living room. I walked down the stairs and see Laurance playing games as the table was chock filled with different sodas, plates of different types of food, and empty chip bags. I just squinted my eyes and mumbled to myself as I walked towards the TV. I stand in front of the TV, blocking Laurance's vision of the screen. He looked at me as I glared at him.

Laurance: Hey, KC. Move!..please?

Nana: Nuh uh!

Laurance: Why noooot?

Nana: Look at the table! It's a mess, Laurance~Kun!

Laurance: ..it is? Oh..it is..

Nana: Clean it up!

Laurance: Okay..

I sighed as I walked towards the kitchen and pick up a bowl and place whatever cereal they had and milk in it, then went to go grab a spoon. I ate my breakfast in the kitchen, facing the living room to make sure Laurance was for sure cleaning up the table. I glared at him the whole time, making him feel ashamed for what he had done, and so early in the morning too. I shook my head as Laurance placed all the trash into the trash bin, making him sigh. When I finished my breakfast, I place the bowl and spoon into the sink, then let Laurance know I was going to work.

He thanked me for telling him in advanced, and let me know he was off today so he was going to be here all day. I smiled, waving him goodbye as I walked out the door and to my car. I open the door and hopped into my car, driving to my work. I hurriedly got out of my car when I had arrived at my workplace, then locked the car behind me as I headed in. I smile as I see my manager, waved her hello, and then proceeded to put on my uniform in the locker rooms.

When I finished with work, I sighed as I put my uniform away, and dragged myself to get to my car. When I got into my car I took a heavy groan as I place my head on the steering wheel. I don't know when it happened exactly but I slowly drifted off to sleep. I perk up awake and let out a relieved sigh as I checked the time, and I only dozed off for a good 10 minutes. I smiled and drove back to Garroth's place. Once I was there I knocked on the door, waiting for Laurance to let me in. He eventually opened the door and let me in.

Nana: Thanks Laurance~Kun!

Laurance: No problem! Oh, by the way Dante's out today. He decided to hang out with Travis, so it'll be just you and I today.

Nana: Oh! T-thank you for letting Kawaii~Chan know! Well, Kawaii~Chan is kind of tired so she thinks she'll just go to bed early.

Laurance: Alright! I'm going to cook dinner, is there anything you'd like?

Nana: hmmm...how about..tacos?

Laurance: Are you sure? You don't sound so sure, KC.

Nana: Oh! Grilled chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy!

Laurance: I could do that! I'll call you out when it's done.

Nana: Okay! Thank you Laurance~Kun!

Laurance: Don't thank me yet! Thank me when you actually enjoy the food!

Nana: Okie dokie!

When I finished talking with Laurance, I headed into the room I'm borrowing, and lock the door behind me. I place my keys in a drawer and pick up the phone out of my pocket, then placed it on the bed. I stretched my body as I decided to change into more comfortable clothing. I took off my shoes and socks, then my pants. I put on light pink fuzzy socks, and black shorts. I kept the shirt on since it was comfy enough, then I yawned as I crawled into the bed, drifting off to sleep.

I woke up from the faint sound of knocking, so I get up and open the door. I see Laurance and he smiled, telling me that the food is ready. He and I then walk downstairs and grab ourselves a plate and put on whatever portions of the food we'd like. The two of us then sat down on the couch, opposite ends and decided to watch a show on TubeTube about this black haired girl who is a goddess going on adventures, saving all her friends and loved ones.

Nana: Who's your favorite so far?

Laurance: I kinda like that brown haired handsome guy.

Nana: The pink haired cat girl is mine!

Laurance: Typical.

Nana: So are you!

Laurance: Hey!

Nana: Oh come on, he's literally so similar to you!

Laurance: She's similar to you too!

Nana: No way! How?

Laurance: Are you blind?! She has pink hair! Plus she's all pretty n stuff!

Nana: Oh yeah? Well the brown haired guy is suave and flirty like you!

Laurance: Hey!

Nana: And you know what else?

Laurance: Don't you dare say it.

Nana: Kawaii~Chan doesn't think he's that handsome!

Laurance: YOU TAKE THAT BACK!

Nana: NEVERRRR!!!

And in that moment, the main door opened, and the two of them peered towards the door. They see Dante, and Dante sees them. They all just stared at one another for a good while, before Dante silently walked up the carrying a brown paper bag, not saying a single word. Laurance turned off the TV, then he and Nana walked up the stairs as they got to their rooms. Laurance and Nana then waved each other goodnight and marched on in their rooms.
