A Confession To Remember - 💙

It was an early morning in Vermilion City. The bright and shining sun peers through the windows in the Cerise Institue.

As the Pidgey's chirped outside the bedroom of two research fellows, Ash and Goh, who had been working for Professor Cerise for almost a year now.

Goh wakes up as the morning sun shines into the room. As he adjusts himself to sit up, rubbing his eyes as he attempts to wake up. Only hearing the Pokémon birds chirping outside, and the soft snores of his best friend and research fellow: Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town.

Goh is aware that they have to both get out of bed soon before Koharu barges in with her Yamper and Eevee, and Arceus knows how chaotic that can be.

Goh has been crushing on Ash for a little over 6months now. He didn't come to terms with his feelings for the first duration of their friendship due to being in denial and thinking he surely wasn't a homosexual, right?

He realized his feelings for the Pallet Town native as time dragged on. The way Ash embraces him and holds him tight, like when Gengar was able to finally to G-Max. Or how Ash holds Goh's hand firmly, but also softly, like when he had the Gulpin stuck on his head. Or even the verbal compliments the Vermillion City boy receives from Ash, such as "You're pretty awesome" or "You're a genius Goh!". Even though they were small comments, Goh still got flustered and blushes deeply.

Goh let out out a dreamily sigh, completely losing himself in his own world. Atleast until he felt a shake on his shoulders

"Hey Goh? You alright?"

Goh's eyes snapped open and looked to the sound of that soft voice, and sure enough, it was Ash. He was standing on the ladder of their bunk bed, peering his head over whilst leaving his hand on his shoulder for a moment, before removing it when Goh averted his gaze to his crush. Goh also noticed that Pikachu was on his shoulder, staring at him with a confused expression.

"Y-yeah, sorry about that! Just been thinking about what to catch today!" Goh stuttered whilst lying. As much as he hated lying to Ash, even the smallest things, he couldn't know that he was thinking about him. Ash would think he is a creep and would destroy his friendship between them both.

Goh shook his head before hopping out of bed once Ash got down the ladder. The two boys got ready for the day, such as brushing their teeth, changing into their regular clothing, and having breakfast.

The two boys made their way to Professor Cerise. The professor turned to his research fellows and smiled.

"Hello my research fellows!" Professor Cerise welcomed.

"Good morning Professor!" Ash and Goh replied cheerfully. Goh blushed on the closeness between him and his crush as their shoulders touch.

"I don't have any research available at the moment, so you have the day to yourself!" Professor Cerise explained.

"That's awesome!! Hey Goh, didn't you say you were thinking about catching Pokémon today anyways? Man I'm so psyched! We should go to the Alola region, maybe will get to see some Ultra Wormholes. Remember those buddy?" Ash turned to his Pikachu, who was perched on his shoulder, giving an small nod.

Goh looked at the scene infront of him, he thought Ash was being absolutely adorable right now, but decided he wasn't going to let that show on his face.

"So, whaddya say Goh? Do you want to go to Alola? Or is there another region you had mind?" Ash inquired as he looked at the Vermillion City native. Goh thought about it for a moment, he really likes Alola's atmosphere, he wanted to fill out his dex for Alola, and his crush wanted to go. How could he say no that that excitable expression on Ash's face.
