Movie Night - 💔💙

Ash decided to have a movie night at Goh's place for the night in his Pallet Town home. They were both sitting next to eachother on the couch in Ash's living room, with Delia having gone to bed long ago.

"We should watch a horror movie!" Ash suggested. He wanted to get close to his crush and thought this was a perfect opportunity for that.

"Ash? Are you sure? You don't take those movies very well. Remember when watched "The Vengeful Yamask?" Goh inquired. He didn't want to repeat what happened when he watched that movie, which was Ash having bad nightmares for a week straight, and they didn't even get to the scary part of the movie.

It was true. Goh had been in his own Vermillion City apartment working with his parents on a project for a couple days, while Ash had the absolute bright idea to watch a horror alone at the Cerise laboratory at 2AM by himself.  When Goh has returned, he found Ash sobbing in bed from a horrible nightmare from the following night.

"Well! I'm feeling a lot braver than before". Ash had stated, but he wasn't finished. "And besides, I have you here with me..." Ash mumbled the last part, which made Goh blushed but quickly dismissed it.

"Okay, but if you start getting scared and you want to turn it off, let me know" Goh said.

"Alrighty Goh!" Ash replies while flipping on the movie on Pokéflix. Apparently it's about a cursed Litwick, and that if anyone finds it's shining blue flame, they were destined to die in a horrific death in 7 days, and as the days progressed after encountering the Litwick, bad lucks begin appearing.

As the movie went out, Goh realized Ash was visibly tense as being sat next to him.

"Are you sure you don't want me to turn it off?" Goh questioned. He was genuinely concerned for the Pallet Town native.

"It's fine!" Ash exclaimed, a bit too loudly and quickly. He quickly scooted a bit closer to Goh in hopes to seek some comfort and Goh didn't hesitate to wrap his arms around Ash's shoulders.

A gruesome part came on, as the Litwick is surrounded by the bloody victims it's taken the life out of. Bodies upon bodies. The Litwick twitched it's eyes and disappeared, only to reappear but only this time closer to the camera, with a jumpscare, a loud shrieking noise erupted from the speakers, making Ash jump into Goh's lap, and began to sob.

Goh quickly shut off the tv and began to comfort the boy of his dreams. He began rubbing his back soothingly, whispering to him "it was just movie, none of it was real".

Ash only embraced Goh's torso tighter as he stifles a sob into Goh's chesr. He curses at himself for being such a coward. Goh must of sense that somehow because he began to speak again.

"Don't beat yourself up for not being able to watch it. It's okay Ash. We are in your home. Your mom is just upstairs. I'm here" Goh whispered whilst blushing slightly.

Ash had eventually calmed down, and rested his head on the crook of Goh's neck. It was silent for a long while. Goh doesn't know how long they sat like that, but was snapped out of his trance when Ash pressed his forehead against his.

"T-Thanks Goh. I knew you would protect me" Ash said, flustered by his own response but did his best not to be bothered by it.

Then Ash decided to softly kiss Goh's lips. It was hesitant and nervous at first when Goh remained stiff, but quickly kissed back. Ash ran his hands through Goh's black hair.

They separated, and they both immediately blushes.

"I like you Goh" Ash whispered, looking away, embarrassed.

"I got that, I like you too, you dummy" Goh teased. Then, he lightly grabbed Ash's chin and brought him in for another kiss.

Once they separated again, Goh looked at Ash and decided to push his luck, just a small bit.

"Hey, do you want me to cuddle you into bed. You know to protect you from the Litwick?" Goh had inquired. Ash nodded and held onto Goh tightly, as Goh picked him up and carried him to his bedroom.

Pikachu was sleeping on the bed but once he saw his distressed trainer, Pikachu quickly nuzzled itself into Ash's side. Goh joined them, and wrapped his arms around Ash, putting Ash's head on his chest.

"Thank you Goh" Ash mumbled into the fabric of Goh's shirt.

"It's no worries, now rest your pretty little head and don't worry; me and Pikachu and Cinderace (who is sleeping on Ash's massive Snorlax plush) will protect you" Goh reassured his new boyfriend.

"I believe you, goodnight Goh" Ash whispered, while lifting his head and giving Goh a small goodnight peck on the lips.

"Goodnight Ash" Goh responded, bringing the sheets to them, as they cuddled closer.

Ash knew he was safe, as long as Goh was there to protect him. From horror films to nightmares.

Ash knew he loves Goh so much, and it's only the beginning of their blossoming relationship.
