As Gabriel feels the negative emotion, he let's go of Nathalie's hand and walks towards his office. He opens the door and walks up to the painting. He takes a look at his late wife portrayed on the large canvas. A wave of emotion crashes over him, and the designer is unsure what to do, for the first time he doesn't know if he should continue.

He brushes off the feeling, yet he feels himself unable to look at the painting. After a moment or two he decides to go on. Aligning his fingers with the secret buttons and feeling the lift take him down. As he is transported to his lair his mind wonders. His heart feeling heavy, yet not in the way he's used too.

He can feel the way he held her after the battle with ladybug and cat noir, involving senti-bug. He held her like she would break if she even touched the ground. He was so scared for her. He didn't know what to do. As he set her seemingly life-less body on a chair he was overwhelmed with emotion. He started to scold her. As he watched her cough as her glasses fell to the floor, his heart sunk. He didn't know what he would do if he lost her.

He picked up the glasses and placed them back on her delicate face. "Your plan was brilliant" he complimented. "But you don't need a miraculous to help me" he felt the urge to kiss her, right then and there. But he stopped himself as watched as his miraculous beeped.

He was brought back to reality as the elevator came to a stop. He walked into his lair, every thought possible rushing through his mind. "Nooroo, dark wings rise!" He said as he transformed.

"I feel...the utter despair of an assistant. Holding every emotion in. But today she finally broke. Feeling pathetic. She was unable to help and made things worse." He says with a laugh, thinking the assistant was Jagged Stones, Penny. As he opened his hand for the butterfly, the realization came to him. "Nathalie..?" He muttered "Nathalie!" He practically shouts, dropping his cane. While still transformed he bolted to the elevator. Clicking the 'up' button vigorously. Before the elevator even came to the top he jumped out, pushing himself off the floor to gain speed. He ran towards the front door. Trying to feel the negative emotions location.

He realized it was upstairs, in her make-shift room. Using his enhanced abilities he quickly jumps up the entire flight of stairs and made a dash towards her room. He barged through the door to see his assistant looking through books. "Dark wings fall" he whispered." S-sir...?" She asked, turning around to see hawkmoth de-transforming at her door. She had no idea what was going on, or if he was okay.

Hawkmoth running through the house would be a very hard situation to explain. "Nathalie...oh my Nathalie" he said softly with a sad look. "You will never disappoint me, you don't have to hide any emotion from me" he said while slowly walking closer to her. He quickly grabbed her hand and pulled her into an embrace. His hands at her waist as she stood shocked.

"S-sir" she muttered, taken aback by the situation. "Don't call me that. Not now"

"Gabriel..." she said in a breathy tone. A certain wave of boldness washed over her. She hooked her hand behind his neck and laid her head on his shoulder. The designer pulled away and gently ran a hand down her cheek.

He stopped to cup her cheek softly, as the hand that had remained on her waist slowly drifted to her hand. Intertwining her fingers delicately with his. He gently pulled her toward him and kissed her gently. "You are not just my assistant, Nathalie" he muttered with his forehead against hers. He moved his head back, looking into her eyes. He moved his hand to her chin. Ever so softly pulling her against his lips. This kiss was delicate, but more passionate.
