13. Work

Y/N woke up, fully prepared to look for a new job.

He quickly finish his morning routine and check out of the hotel.

He roughly has an idea what to do.
"If I can successfully get myself a job under Nies' company, that means I can do the same at other company!"

He scroll through his phone and searched.
Quickly he manages to pick a few targets.

After preparing himself, he made his way to his first target and tries the interview.

He walk up to the receptionist.
"Hi sir how can I help you?"
Y/N: "Hi, I'm here to interview for a job."
"Oh ok, may I have your particulars please."
Y/N handed over what was requested.

"Please fill in this form while I contact my HR."
Y/N: " Okay thank you!"

He took the form and went to fill it in.
After filling it he brought it back to the reception.

Y/N: "Hi, it's been filled."
"Sir, just a question, the previous company you worked at was it under Uhm miss Jennie's?"
Y/N: " Uh... yeah?"
"Oh I'm terribly sorry sir, we were told to not take you in specifically."
Y/N: "What? Why??"
"I'm not sure sir, please look for another opportunity."

Y/N turned around and left.
"Why was I rejected??? I'm not allowed to be taken in specifically? Is this place like against Jennie or something? Or...? Whatever I'll just go to the next one."

He headed to the next company on his target list.
"Hi sir how can I help you?"
Y/N: " I am here to interview for a job."
"Ah okay, may I have your details please."

After he handed over, the receptionist return to Y/N and spoke politely: " I'm sorry sir, we were told that you are not allowed to join our company."

"AGAIN?! What is going on here???"

Still not giving up hope, he made his way to the rest of the company on his list.
But the result was the same, every single company he went to has been rejected without a reason.

"What is going on here??? Did Jennie perhaps went ahead and tell everyone company to not take me in??? Just so that she can get me going back to her...? Nies... not that I don't want to but I don't have the shame to... guess I only have 1 last place to go..."

He set his mind and headed down.
Once he reach the lobby,
"Hi sir, how can I help?"
Y/N: " I would like to interview for a job..."
"May I have your details sir?"

???: " It's fine, ask him to follow me."
A familiar voice can from behind the receptionist.

Y/N looked behind already expecting the person.

"Ok boss!"

Y/N: " Hey...Miyeon.
Miyeon: "..."

Y/N followed the silent Miyeon upstairs to her office. It's been a few months since he came.

After they enter her office, she force Y/N against the wall.
Y/N: " Again...?"
Miyeon swing her arm and gave Y/N a tight slap on his face.

Y/N: " Yah! What was that for?!"
Miyeon: " SHUT UP! I was told to slap you from Jennie."
Y/N: " Oh... so you know what happened..."
Miyeon: " No shit! And here I thought you 2 no longer have anymore problems!"

Y/N: " I... I don't want to talk about it...!"
Miyeon: " Whatever. Anyways, I was told to give you a job here so just stay and work for me."
Y/N: " Did Jennie actually go ahead and tell all the company out there to like reject me? So that I can go back to her?"
Miyeon: " You ain't 100% right but ain't 100% wrong at the same time. You are here in my company ain't it?"
