My eyes shot open as I heard someone knocking on my door so I quickly got up to see who it was."Oh! mama!" Heh...." I looked down at the floor."Camilo, hurry up and get ready breakfast starts in 5 minutes!"She yelled with a cloud forming over her head."no need to get upset mama,I'll get ready." I replied.She shut the door and I quickly got dressed and slid down the stairs just in time for breakfast. I sat down next to Mirabel,and Then Abuela spoke" family,I know you all have been working extremely hard for this community and I am thankful for that. But,you all need to put even more effort into using your gifts for the town,is that understood? "Is she serious? She really isn't satisfied for the work we all already put in?" I thought. I Love my abuela very much,but I hate it when she expects impossible perfection from all of us. I just feel that she relies to much on the gifts and doesn't see us as anything more. I just grit my teeth and delt with it. After breakfast I got up to go do my chores, which consists of taking care of and entertaining kids. I watched them all laughed as I shapeshifters into each of them.the next few hours continued no different. They day was over and I started walking back to casita. I was heading to my room until abuela stopped me and pulled me off to the side."w-what is it Abuela?" Was I in trouble? Did I do something wrong? I thought."Camilo lately you have been slacking off when it comes to helping the townspeople,if you were to ask me you are completely useless."my eyes widened and I clenched my fist."W-what?"I said."Young man you know exactly what I'm talking about! You really can't do anything but watch some kids? Come on! I expect more from you! Start doing your job As a madrigal, understood?!"I was in total shock. I didn't know if I should be mad or sad,so I just muttered"understood" then she walked away in disappointment.I ran to my room and slammed the door."god why can't she just be grateful for how hard I try! Why doesn't she considered how I feel!"I kicked the pillow on my floor and sat on my bed extremely annoyed.
"Useless huh....." those were the words that hurt me the most.I was to tired to deal with any of it so I just got changed and went to bed.
