Meeting a slayer

One Night I was Having one of my normal confrontations with these creatures,pinning them down and letting them die. Once I was finished I packed up my weapons,and just as I was about to leave I heard someone speak."Hey kid."I whipped around to see a black haired male with bandages on his mouth and a snake rapped around his neck.I just stared at him."I saw you fight that demon,it wasn't bad to be honest."he said to me.I gave him a confused glare."w-who even are you?"I said to him grabbing my sword like I was ready to fight."no need to get hostile,I'm a friend."he said back to me. I slowly lowered my guard."y-you watched me fight t-that monster?"I said."I was thinking about interfering but it looked like you had him.That's impressive for someone who isn't a demon slayer.
