The three stood there. Averie held on tightly to her father's arm as Peter hid behind his leg. Their father turned and kneeled to the kid's height. "Why aren't you two going?" He asked.

"We don't want to. I'm scared," Peter mumbled.

The man just smiled at his son, "Peter, I thought we talked about this. You'll go to this school, make new friends, and learn magic."

"Yeah, Peter! We'll have fun. And if we can't make friends, it'll just be me and you," His sister grabbed his hand.

"Thank you Ver," Peter smiled. The two fathers just smiled more.

"Your luggage was already placed in the cargo bay, time for you to get on the train." He said and stood up. Both of the children hugged him, well his legs mostly.

"Love you, dad. Tell mum and Pen we love them," Averie and Peter smiled at him.

"Love you too," he patted their heads as they pulled away.

"Come on, Peter!" The girl pulled him onto the train.

As the two walked down the train, looking for a seat. They were only met with them to be filled. The further they got the more hopeless they felt. They were reaching the end of the compartment when a door they had passed by moments ago flew open.

"You can sit with us if you want," a young boy said, his curly hair falling on his forehead just above his glasses.

"Really?! Thank you," Averie pulled her brother into the cabin.  Inside they found the boy and another boy with long black hair. The twins sat across from them, Peter by the window and Averie in the middle.

"James," the boy stuck his hand out as the two sat.

"Averie and the is Peter," she responded. Averie looked over at the other boy.

"Sirius," he smiled at her.

"Nice to meet you,"

"I'm so excited," James squealed.

"Me too! I can't wait for the feast! Mum said they're rolls are the best," Peter laughed.

"I can't wait to be sorted," Sirius said.

"What house are you hoping for?" Averie asked. Both James and Sirius beamed at each other.

"Gryffindor," James said proudly.

"Same," Sirius repatedly hit James' sholder with excitment.

"Awesome! I'm hoping for Ravenclaw or Slytherin!" Averie moved so her legs were crossed under her.
