There the small girl sat in a bright and sunny field of flowers. She was braiding together the small plants into a gorgeous loom. Then a boy jumped on her and laughed as she yelped, "E-eh!? Onii-Chan what's up with you today?" The boy smiled happily "Today we're departing to our new homes! Together!!!" The girls face brightened in shock. She happily hugged her brother as they kept chatting.
"Hey...Onii-Chan?"
"What's up ***** -Chan?"
"I really hope that we'll stay together and that we aren't born under an unlucky star...I'm really scared..."
The boy chuckled in an amused tone, "Don't worry *****-Chan! There's no way your super cool Onii-Chan will let anything hurt you!"
"You promise?"
"I promise...I'll protect you forever..."
HEIAN PERIOD JAPAN
"My lady! It's twins!"
The stoic woman stared at the child and one of the doctors noticed something strange
"T-the boy isn't breathing! He's dead!"
The stoic woman blank expression finally shattered into that of shocked one. Before she could speak both babies where taken away from her in an instant and right before her eyes...the funeral ceremony was held for her child. But right before the flames touched its face the baby wailed in desperation and struggled around.
It was alive.
