They were all sitting in silence waiting, then the next video came on.
Margaret smiled when she saw herself with Peter. She hoped that she and Peter were fine in the future and that they at least ended on good terms. On the other side of Margaret was Elizabeth. Elizabeth looked down in shame that she wasn't able to help her sister to be with the man she loved. Elizabeth knew that their relationship would be protested by their mother and cabinet but in the end she hoped that she would help them in some way. Elizabeth wanted to remain Margaret's sister and best friend.
Both Elizabeth and Margaret's eyes started to water as they saw their late father. They grasped onto each other's hands for support.
Almost everyone rolled their eyes once again when they saw the former king that abdicated the throne, appear on the screen.
Elizabeth was taken a back when she heard her future self say that to Philip. Would he really have an affair? Elizabeth looked over at Philip who looked back at her, shocked as well. At least Elizabeth knew that he hasn't cheated on her yet and that he's still faithful. She hoped that after this he'll remain so.
Everyone else in the theatre was in shock as well, especially Charles and Anne. Their parents always made it same as though their whole loves were perfect, well more like their mother did, but still they never gave any clues that something like this happened in the past. Charles felt bad for his mother, he knew that it was hard to be the Queen and to carry that heavy weight in your shoulders so it must've been immensely harder when she found out that the person she thought she could trust the most betrayed her. Charles thought that he would never do that to someone.
Elizabeth tightened the grip on her sisters hand when she saw the vow that their father made them swear to one another when they were younger. She then looked over to Margaret and whispered, "I'm sorry". Margaret just inhaled through her nose and slightly nodded before turning away.
Margaret was still mad of course but she couldn't bring herself to pull her hand away from her sister's. She understood that Elizabeth was put between a rock and a hard place, and that she at least tried for them.
Diana was shocked to see that this video was about her. But her mood swiftly changed when she heard the end of Anne's explanation of their situation.
Anne felt bad that it was her that was hurting this poor innocent girls feelings. At the same time, she wasn't sorry because she felt that everyone should know the whole truth not just bits and pieces of it.
Charles was also shocked with Anne's story, especially when she said the part about Camilla being in love with someone else when they were still together. He was hurt by that since he thought he was the only man in her life at the time. Charles quickly shook it off though because he thought it would have no importance now that he married someone else in the future.
Diana was still shocked at how unhappy the two looked together. She was also wondering why there were so many scenes of her crying in the bathroom.
Elizabeth and Philip were shocked at how unhappy one of their children would become. Philip was mainly shocked because he was wondering what had to be wrong with his son to be unhappy with a girl like Diana. He thought he should be thanking the gods to end up with a girl like her, but instead he's throwing it away on some other girl who's already married and in love with someone else, even when they were together.
