A few days later after Y/N giving Jean her money back, the city has become a lot more lively. This is thanks to the effort of Lumine saving the city from Stormterror. Right now, Lumine and Paimon are walking around the city while getting praised by some people. After a few minutes of walking, they spot Jean talking to someone

Paimon: Isn't that Jean? Seems she's talking to someone... Let's let her finish, then go say hi?

Over on Jean side, she is having a discussion with a Fatui Diplomat

Fatui Diplomat:...which is what has brought us to this point in the first place. If you are unable to promptly deal with the Stormterror threat, then leave the defense of Mondstadt to the Fatui. We could put an end to Mondstadt's dragon issues, all we need to do is bring that monster to the-

Jean frown upon hearing the word monster from the Diplomat's mouth

Jean: "Monster"?

Fatui Diplomat: Yes. What's your point?

Jean had a thick mark on her head clearly angry towards the Diplomat's attitude and cross her arms

Jean: Ah... I'd expect a more professional attitude from your diplomats. Yet here you are saying you want to "put and end" to one of The Four Winds of Mondstadt? I won't have any of this nonsense in front of the Knights of Favonius

The glare from the Acting Grand Master could scare anyone away but the Fatui Diplomat just laughs

Fatui Diplomat: Heh... Hehehe... It's not as crazy as you make it sound

She then cross her arms

Fatui Diplomat: Fine. That's enough negotiation for today. At this stage it's simply...an amicable exchange of constructive opinions, no? I'll be sure to make...thorough notes...

With that the Fatui Diplomat left silently as Jean sigh. Lumine and Paimon walk over to her which Jean notices and turn to them

Jean: Oh, Lumine, you're back. Thanks for your help. The elemental flow is finally stable. The aftermath of Stormterror's last attack is finally settled for the moment. However, the pressure from the delegation has become too big to be ignored...

Paimon: Delegation? From Liyue Harbor or Inazuma City?

Jean: Snezhnaya. They choose to follow the God of Cryo. Their envoys go by a particular name: The Fatui. Heard of them?

Paimon: Oh, them. They are super famous. Wait, infamous is more the word...

Jean: I don't think killing Stormterror is the right course of action. The Cryo God's Fatui have always coveted the Anemo God's power. I don't believe they have Mondstadt's best interests at heart

They jumped and look to where the voice came from to see Y/N leaning against the wall

You: People could eavesdrop you without you noticing it

Paimon: When did you get there?!

He walks up to them

You: Like Jean said, we should discuss this back at headquarters
