I was pretty happy. I was getting married. Me and my family and friends had a lot of planning to do. But my mom and everyone said the wedding decor and stuff should be a surprise. So I was not part of planning. Now I had some other stuff to worry about. For example how I am gonna go down the aisle without legs. And find a dress for a legless girl. I hear my phone ringtone and see Mathew calling.
"Hello?" I answer.
"Hi love I need you to meet me at my house." He said.
"Ok my dad will drop me off." I said. Another thing that sucked was i couldn't drive. When we pulled up to Mathews house Mathew walked out. He had a gorgeous smile on him. He picked me up and put me in his car. We drove and then I noticed we were pulling up to a clinic. A prosthetic clinic.
"Scince we are getting married you deserve to walk down your aisle and walk every day." He said.
"What?" I said. I don't understand anything.
"You are getting prosthetic legs and daily therapy on how to use them and I already paid some and your insurance helped a lot. Today they are just meeting you and starting on therepy." He said.
"OMG!!!!!ARE YOU SAYING I CAN WALK AGAIN? I LOVE YOU SOOO MUCH! THANK YOU!" I yelled as I was crying of joy. This was what true love was. Helping through hard times and bieng there.
When I came home my mom and aunt Lizzie where holding my wedding dress. I was living a happy life. A loving family. A loving fiancé and so much support. I am a fighter and cancer prepare to go down!
