Wai's POV:

Wai finished his lectures and said his goodbyes. When he comes out of the Architecture department, he see Korn waiting for him on his bike. He waves at him and a smile appears on his face. As he walk down the stairs,  he hears a few girls whispering about him and Korn.

Girl1: Isn't that Korn?

Girl2: Yeah. He has been visiting Architecture department too often these days.

Girl 3: I heard a rumour that he is dating Wai.

Girl 1: No way. Why would a hot guy like him date someone like Wai?

Girl2: What do you mean? Wai is good looking and hardworking student.

Girl 1: He is so hot tempered and impulsive. I heard he is a scholarship student and works in a bar. What is so impressive about him? Korn can do so much better. There are so many boys and girls hitting on him.

Wai's smile starts to vanish as he heard the girl's opinion about him. He quickly walks down and goes in the opposite direction away from Korn. But he is stopped by someone holding his hand before he can go any further.

"Wai"

Korn's POV:

Korn felt happy standing at the Architecture department and waiting for Wai. He genuinely felt nice that he didn't have to fight with Wai anymore. As he was thinking about Wai, he saw him standing at the entrance. He waved at Wai and he smiled back at him. But suddenly the smile disappeared and  he ran down the stairs and started walking away from Korn. Korn ran behind him.
He caught him before he got much further.

Korn: Wai

Wai does not look at Korn and just stands there with his back facing Korn.
Korn quickly turns him around to face him. He was shocked to see tears in Wai's eyes.

Korn: Wai, What happened? Did someone hurt you?

Wai does not say anything. He just wipes his tears vigorously but tears flows down nonstop.

Korn: Wai, just say something.

Wai: Nothibg happened. I have to go for my shift. Let me go.

Korn: No. You are not going anywhere without telling me the reason for these tears.

Wai: Korn please.

Korn just pulls Wai towards him and hugs him tight.

Korn: Wai, stop crying and just tell me what happened.

Wai: Am I not worth loving?

Korn: What?

Wai: I know I am hot tempered and impulsive but does that make me so unworthy of any one's love. Does my job and status decide whether someone should love me or not?

Korn: What the hell are you saying? Who put such a stupid idea in your brain?

Wai does not say anything but stares in the direction of the Architecture building. Korn turns around to see three girls standing there and looking at them. They were staring at him and talking among themselves. Korn quickly holds Wai and pulls him towards the Architecture building.

Wai: Korn, where are you going? Please leave my hand.

Korn does not say anything but continues walking.

Wai: Korn

Korn stands before the girls holding Wai's hand.

Korn: I heard you guys have some problem with my boyfriend.

He looks at them intensely and waits for a reply.

Girl1: Boyfriend, are you serious? How can a cool guy like you date someone like him? Is this some sort of bet?

Korn clutches his fist in anger as he heard the words coming out of the girl's mouth. Korn steps forward in anger but Wai holds him back. Korn looks at Wai's pleading eyes and he manage to bring a smile on his face.

Korn: Ofcourse it's a bet.

The girl looks at Wai with a smirk on her face.

Wai loosens his hand on hearing Korn's words but Korn locked his fingers with Wai's fingers.

Korn: It's a bet on who can make him smile the most. It's a bet on who can make him laugh when he is sad. It's a bet on who will always be with him when he is lonely. Actually it's a bet on who will love him the most.

The smirk disappears from the girl's face as she heard those words.  Korn then looks at Wai's face that is covered with tears but has a slight smile on it.

Korn: And you know what, as you all know I am very competitive and I intend to win this bet at all cost.

Wai tightens his hold on Korn's hand and looks at him with a smile. Korn then turns around and looks at the girl with a fierce expression.

Korn: So, next time don't mess with him  because I hate to lose a bet.

The girl feels a shiver  run through her body on hearing Korn's cold voice.

Korn: Let's go.

Wai: Hmm

Korn gets in the bike and waits for Wai to get on. Then he takes Wai's hand and wrap it securely around his waist.

Korn: Ready?

Wai just nods his head with a smile. Korn then starts the bike and leaves from there.

"Looks like you no longer have to worry about Wai"

Pran turns around to look at Pat who just came to pick him up. He had been standing at a distance from the Architecture building looking at Korn confronting the girls for insulting Wai.

Pran: I agree. Wai is in safe hands now. I am happy for him.

Pat smiles at Pran and they both leave for their dorm.
