Wai and Pran reach the hospital and Wai runs inside leaving behind Pran. As he reach the Intensive care unit, he saw Pat pacing outside.
Wai: Pat
Pat: He is still unconscious. I am waiting for an update from the doctor.
Just then the doctor comes out of the door.
Wai: Doctor, how is Korn?
Doctor: He is still in critical condition. His body is rejecting all the medicine. I feel like he has lost the will to live.
Wai looks at the doctor stunned by the information. He drops down on the chair next to him and covers his face with his hands as tears start flowing down his eyes. Pran quickly runs to his friend and hugs him.
Wai: I...I...I did this. I did this to him. He..He was trying so hard to make things right but...I ignored him. I pushed him so much that he lost the will to live.
Pran: Shush..You didn't do anything purposely. You were hurting. You just wanted some time. Don't blame yourself.
Pat: Pran is right Wai. Please don't cry. Korn would hate to see your tears.
Tears came down nonstop from Wai's eyes as he cursed himself for being so stubborn.
Wai: Pat
Pat: Hmm
Wai: Can I see him? Please
Pat: Let me talk to the doctor.
Wai nods his head. Pran sits by him while Pat go to talk to the doctor. Pat comes back soon.
Pat: Go and meet him Wai. Doctor said you can see him for 5 minutes. Just say whatever you have hiding inside you all these years. May be this will help to pull him back to life.
Wai nods his head and enters the room after changing into a scrub.
A sob escapes Wai mouth on seeing Kor lying there unconscious with all tubes attached to him. He looks so pale and almost lifeless. Wai sits next to him and holds his hand.
Wai: Korn, I know I am a bit late but I am here to stay. I am sorry. I am so sorry Korn. I never wanted to hurt you. I just thought since you have found your someone special, you no longer need me in your life. I moved out to prepare my heart to accept you and your lover because I didn't want to lose you as a friend. I.. I love you so much Korn. I loved you when we were fighting like cats and dogs in our freshers year and I loved you more when we became friends. I could not say it because of my ego and insecurity. I thought...that a person like you would never like someone so rude and hot tempered like me. I..
Wai starts to cry as he thought about all those days he spend with Korn.
"Waa..ii"
Wai looks up startled on hearing Korn's voice.
Wai: Korn..Korn..You are awake. Let me call the doctor.
Korn holds his hand when Wai tries to go out.
Korn: Do..don't go.
Wai: I am not going anywhere. I promise. Let me call the doctor first.
Korn nods his head and let go of his hand. Wai runs out of the room and informs Pat and Pran that Korn is awake. Pat goes to call the doctor while Wai goes back inside with Pran. Soon the doctor arrives and asks everyone to wait outside while he checks on Korn.
Wai, Pran and Pat was waiting outside impatiently as the doctor comes out with a smile.
Wai: Doctor
Doctor: He is fine. He should recover fully with complete rest and proper food. We will be doing some more tests and then he will be moved to the room. Tears of joy escaped Wai's eyes as he hugged Pran and Pat. They laughed in joy.
Korn was moved to a room after couple of hours. He was under sedation to avoid any pain or discomfort he might feel. Wai stayed back while he asked Pat and Pran to go back home and come back later. They refused initially but later agreed on the condition that Wai will take rest too.
It's been a few hours since Korn has been shifted to the room and he is still sleeping. Wai sat next to him holding his hand. Soon he fell asleep due to exhaustion. He woke up when he felt someone caressing his face.
Wai: Korn
Korn: Hmm
Wai looks at Korn with a smile on his face.
Wai: You are awake. How are you feeling?
Korn: Like a truck hit me.
Wai: That's what happens when you drink recklessly.
Korn: I drank because you walked away from me.
Wai: I...I
Korn: I know. I heard everything you said. I am sorry for being so dumb that I didn't realize her intentions early on.
Wai: It's not your fault. I never told you how I felt about you.
Korn: But I knew and I ignored it.
Wai: What?
Korn: I saw my sketch on your diary.
Wai: WHAT?
Korn: And the message underneath it.

Wai: Then why didn't you..
Korn: I was frightened. I thought you just meant as a friend. I didn't want to lose you. I jus... But when you left me and didn't return my calls, I lost it completely. It was driving me crazy. I wanted to sleep but all I could see whenever I closed my eyes was your smiling face. I drank nonstop to forget the pain I was feeling but nothing helped me. You and only you are the remedy to my pain. Now, when you are near me, I feel so relieved and happy. Thank you for coming back.
Wai: I am sorry. I love you. I have always loved you. But I realized how important you are in my life when I saw you with her. I thought I lost you forever. I didn't know how to live my life without you. I was dying inside because of the pain.
Korn: It's always been you Wai. I cannot think of anyone else. I love you so much.
Wai: I love you too.
Korn: Come here.
Korn opens his arms as Wai gently slides into them. Korn wraps his arms possessively around Wai and places a kiss on his forehead.
Korn: You are mine. I am never letting you go, ever again.
Wai: Where will I go when you are my home.
Korn and Wai drift back to sleep thanking God for bringing them back to each other.
Later when Pran and Pat return to the hospital with their dinner, a smile appears on their face on seeing the scene before them. Korn and Wai was sleeping peacefully in each other's arms.
Pran: Finally
Pat: Yes. Finally they found their soulmates in each other.
Pran: Like us
Pat smiles and pulls Pran into his arms as he kiss his forehead.
Pat: I love you.
Pran: I love you too.
