There's only one time where Bakugou Katsuki felt guilty and that is when he realized how much of a dick he is to Izuku. He admits that he bullied the nerd because he felt inferior to him. He will never admit that to anyone but he's slowly accepting (or already accepted) that he, as much as he hates it, cares about Izuku.
So, whatever he is feeling right now isn't guilt. No, not at all.
This is probably the first time the apartment has been silent ever since she came. No one was singing or mumbling shit. No one was talking slang shit. No one was bothering him—just no one. It feels like he is alone again.
He smirked, though shakily. This is how it's supposed to be. He lives a quiet life and he's fine being alone until she came and decided to meddle with his business. She was the one who appear out of nowhere and ruined his life pattern.
It's been 3 days since they last spoke to each other even though they're just under the same roof. She's mostly stuck on her room and even ignores him at work by having them patrol on different places.
He remained seated on his bed trying to hear any footsteps, the show on the TV, or maybe some rummaging of food but there's none. It's just silent.
He clicked his tongue before deciding to leave his room. Why would he feel awkward when he's inside his place? Fucking ridiculous.
The place was gloomy as fuck. The living room was dim and silent, and the TV was shut (ever since she arrived, she always had it on to watch some fucking romantic shit. That's probably why the electricity bill increased).
In annoyance, he punched the switch to open the lights and then opened the television before turning the volume high enough to fill the silence of the place. When he was satisfied, he went to the kitchen and started preparing a meal.
He halted for a moment, thinking if he should also cook for her- No, fucking way. Who is she to be served by the Great Dynamite?! He doesn't care. He's gonna cook for himself and him alone.
Besides, if she's hungry she will eventually cling to him again and beg him to cook for her since she's famished, no cap.
He rolled his eyes at the thought and just proceed with his business. Sashimi seems good right now.
He was in the middle of slicing the fish when she entered the kitchen with a white shit on her face. Bakugou raised a brow at her but the damn clutz didn't even spare him a glance and walked past him to open the fridge and get a box of donuts. His eyes silently followed her. She left quietly and went to the living room to change the channel. The audacity to ignore him and yet use the television he bought with his own money.
Despite the fucking ignorance, he continued his business without any problem.
The sound of news was loud but it is silent.
...
It was uncomfortable.
He was done preparing his meal so he went to the living room and started to eat slowly, trying to figure out what the woman on the other side is up to. When he glanced, her eyes remained glued on a book he didn't notice she ducking have.
He tried, he did, to fucking focus on eating and watching but the shit was too boring that his eyes will just often throw her a glance but the girl was silently reading her book. Her face was too serious that he feels like breathing is too difficult.
Alright, he "might" have crossed the line. No, he did cross the line.
Goddamn, just act like an adult for once!
