From Action Game to Adventure Movie

This poster is a movie based on a PlayStation "story-mode" video game called Uncharted. Uncharted is a series of action-adventure games that features Nathan Drake, a famous treasure hunter who travels across the world to try, and uncover all of the mysteries of the past. This poster makes most people feel nostalgic or curious about the video game and movie. The Uncharted poster will always look filled with intrigue and mystery, making people wonder what adventures will unfold in the movie. This poster is about an action adventure video game turned into an adventure mystery movie adaptation.

Drake is the man at the top of the poster in between the name titles. He is portrayed on the poster as the most prominent person in the movie. He is an adventurer with a serious look on his face. Drake is wearing a light beige, long sleeve shirt with a brown leather holster around his arms. As the people become smaller, there is a shady treasure hunter that goes by Sully, just a little lower than and to the right of Drake, showing that he has a less great and but still prominent role as he is the secondary main character. Sully is wearing a beige collar long sleeve shirt with a determined yet sneaky look on his face that shows the wrinkles on his forehead. The man in the center of the poster is represented as the bad guy of the story. He is wearing a white collar dress shirt and a scowl on his face. The first woman on the left, smaller but not the smallest, is wearing a sleeveless faded green shirt as she holds a flame lit torch in her hand with a leather cuff bracelet. The smallest visible person is a woman in a black ball gown with short white hair slicked around her head, with a hook shaped dagger in her left hand. Under the name title: Tom Holland, at the top-left corner of the background, it looks like a clear dark blue sky. Then a light blue clear sky with an overlay that looks a lot like the ley lines on an old map. Moreover, the background to the top-right under the name title: Mark Wahlberg is a partially cloudy blue sky in contrast to the left side of the poster, with Drake's head separating the two sides. There is a golden round object with two needles coming out of either side behind Drake that looks like a compass. Right under the smaller characters the background turns from a sky blue into a golden yellow sunrise coming out from the green covered mountains. Looking just below the mountains is a large body of aqua blue water. Three speed boats with three people on each of the two side boats and two people in the center boats riding the waves getting closer to the screen. The two in the center boat are most likely the two main characters since the people at the bottom can not be distinguished. As the water turns a dark blue color the title of the movie is shown, in bold broken golden letters UNCHARTED with the date it premieres in theaters.

Uncharted is a series of action-adventure games that follow Nathan Drake. Sony Pictures has one goal of making money, and made this poster for a movie adaptation. They attracted attention to this poster by adding well liked actors to the cover. The sizes of the characters in the poster will determine the importance of their role. Right under the middle of the poster, is a beautiful sunrise. The sun is shown from behind large mountains giving it a glare effect. Sony used this glare effect to draw attention, and to make the beloved actors look as if they are glowing. Right under the sunrise is the ocean. Instead of making the ocean blue, Sony made it a teal color that only got darker as it reached the bottom of the poster. Almost black one might say, creating an ominous mysterious feeling inside.

This poster conveys the adventure and mystery of a great movie that was made from a popular action video game. With the contrast between the blue and yellow hues, this poster will make you feel excited to see the action scenes.
