~dont be afraid of the dark~

You don't have to be.
I know why you are.
Everyone is.
Because darkness has no end. It's like a deep hole. And once you stepped in you're falling down. But its not the fall from the plank, it's the moment you hit the water and you're sinking down.
People are afraid of the darkness because they know they can get lost in it.
Because they know others who did.
Or because it happend to themselfs.
Because you can't see or hear or touch.
Because you just feel.
And who can just feel anymore?
Its frightening.
We all got lost in the dark before.
That's why some people try to avoid it.
Stay away from it.
Stay in the light.
But they know it won't work.
In the light you can see and hear and touch.
But you don't feel that much. Just enough.
They can be as smiley as they want to.
They always see the shadows in the corners. And they think the light protects them. But it makes them blind and dull. Without seeing that,  it just makes the difference bigger. And the fear taller.
And they look at the other people.
Those who can dance in the light and dream in the shadows and dont get lost in the dark.
And they wonder.
Do you want to be like that, too?
Don't be afraid.
Grab their hands.
Let them guide you through the shadows. 
They wont hurt you.
I promise.
We take care.
I take care.
I pull you out of the darkness when you get lost.
Because I can swim deep down.
Like I did before. A million times. for a million people.
And a little piece of heart will guide you always back into the light shadows. And from there you can already see the bright light again.
So, just take my hand and I'll guide you.
Don't be afraid.
The darkness can hurt you.
But the light keeps you blind.
It's your choice.
