The next two months was like that, he was angry at me all the time because I refused to treat him like anything else but a prince.

I had already realized that he was lonely and didn’t really have any friends, we were the same in that way, but even if I wanted to please him and be more of a friend I knew that I could not do that, I was a guard and soldier and on top of that a half-blood.

Sometimes he spent time with his siblings, but he never seemed happy.

Elóné had five siblings: his older brother Drák the heir to the throne, Flamára the first princess Of Dragonia, Drákóné the third prince of Dragonia, Wínga the second princess of Dragonia and Shimra the third princess and also the youngest.

Elóné was the second child and he really cared for his siblings, even though he didn’t felt happy.

On the third month Elóné notified me that we were going to one of the familie's hunting cabins. We arrived to a house deep in the woods with mountains surrounding us.

Níélla and the other dragon went into the forest when we went inside the cabin and we weren’t to see either of them until we were going home.

But for now we were alone in the house, Elóné revealed to me that he went on this trip because he needed to get away from the castle and all the expectations his family had on him. That night he opened up more and started telling me about his life, a life were he constantly had to please others by being who and what they wanted him to be.

-“I don’t have any friends, and I don’t have anything in common with my siblings and…” He got quiet all of a sudden and I looked at him. A tear left his eyes and he wiped it away quickly.

-“Are you okay?” I asked and he smiled at me.

-“I’m okay, I think I’m going to bed” He said and turned away.

-“Why are you crying if you’re okay?” I asked and he stopped.

-“You wouldn’t understand” He whispered and now I got annoyed.

-“You’re right I don’t understand, you have had a difficult upbringing, I feel so sorry for you” I said and I could hear how sarcastic my voice was when I spoke. But I couldn’t stop myself ”You had a lot of expectations on you, and you have siblings who love you but you don't have anything in common with them, you’re feeling all alone and I’m sure it must have been a hell that people do whatever they can to even get a glimpse of you on a party or to be close to your person”

-“I told you that you weren’t going to understand” He said and gave me a cold gaze.

-“And I agree with you, because there are people who would love to live your life, to have love all around them and I honestly think that you are a spoiled brat that can’t appreciate what you have while you have it!”

Elóné stood quiet and looked at me without saying anything for a while.

-“How dare you speak to me like that?” He finally hissed at me.

-“Well you have nagged me to treat you like anyone else, so here it is, I’m treating you like you were anyone else in the city, but then again they are also ungrateful stuck up hypocrites!”

The next second I felt a pain on my cheek when he slapped me, when I stared at him he took three frightened steps backwards when he saw the tiger’s eyes that gazed into his.

-“What…is…that…?” He whispered and pressed himself against the wall.

-“It’s the eyes of the black tiger. You are wise not to make any hasty moves until I gain control” I answered with a low voice. Elóné stood so still that I almost thought he had turned into a statue and I could hear the tiger softly purr by the scent of fear that he could feel from Elóné.
