Entering Dauntless

Y/n's Pov

      Once the ceremony ended all of the new and Dauntless's ran outside towards the train tracks. I jumped up and gripped the side of the tracks bridge. I climbed up and when I reached the top I watched as others jumped on the passing train. I start to run to get a running start, as the train passed by me I jumped on it. I lay on the floor of the train for a moment to catch my breath. I then stand up and look around. I don't really see any people from Amity like me besides a friend of mine named Beatrice Prior. I and her are kinda close, she however does not know about my dad abusing me. At least I have her to talk to, I walk over towards her and help her up since she just jumped on the train as well.

     "I was surprised you chose Dauntless Y/n," she says to me smiling.

     "I could say the same thing for you Beatrice," I tease as she laughs. Another girl is by us and I decided to try to make another friend.

     "Hey I'm Y/n, and this is Beatrice, what's your name?" I ask her holding out my hand.

     "I'm Christina, I'm from Cander, what about you guys?" She asks.

    "We are both from Amity," I tell her.

    "Wow, I never expected people from Amity to join Dauntless, no offense." She says.

     "Guess we're different" Beatrice adds laughing making us all laugh. We start to hear commotion on the train and I look out to see people jumping off the train and onto a rooftop.

     "Um, guys they are jumping!" Christina says stating the obvious.

     "Welp, on three?" I ask them and they nod. "One.... Two.... Three!"

     We all jump together, I do a summersault when I land, so it wasn't too bad, but I couldn't say the same for Beatrice And Christina.

     "Owww," they both groan and sit out rubbing their heads. I help them up and then we gather around a man with blond hair. He has tattoos on his neck and a few piercings. Man, he was handsome.

     "Hey listen up!" He says, "Welcome to Dauntless, I am your leader Eric. The entrance in Dauntless is here," he says moving a bit to show us a pit.

     "Is there like water down there or something?" A boy asks.

     "Well you have to see now won't you?" Eric says smirking, "So who is first?" He asks. Silence fills the area beside the sound of the train from the distance.

     "Well fuck it, why not!" I say shrugging and leaving Christina and Beatrice and stepping up to the front. Eric looks me over then raises a brow.

     "Wow, a stiff goes first? I'm surprised" I roll my eyes and step up onto the roof part, I turn around and do a backflip off the roof.

     "WOOOHOOO" I exclaim until a net catches me. I let out a sigh, as the next moves and I fall off it. I stand up and look up. I don't believe it. It was Tobias, he has grown so much.

     "First jumper, what's your name, you can change your name but you better choose a good one cause you can't change it after this." He says obviously bored he has probably done this a lot. I guess he doesn't recognize me. I hear screaming and turn to my left to see a dude fall down and land on the net. "Hello? Your name stiff." Tobias says. I snap out of my dazed and look at him.

     "Y/n," I say crossing my arms. I watched as his eyes widen and look me over.

     "N/n (nickname) is that you?" He asks, hope in his eyes showing.

     "Not anymore, it's Y/n," I snap at him. I know I'm being a child but I won't forgive him for what he did. A group has started to pile up from falling and I walk over to them ignoring Tobias Completly.
