♡Chapter 19: Wilbur's Birthday Party!

It's 10am, when I woke up from my deep sleep. The weather today is sunny, but since it's now officially autumn, the sun isn't shining down as hot anymore as it used to do. I check again the social medias on my phone, before I decide to get up. I even have a reason to get up today because: ITS WILBURS BIRTHDAY! My sweet sunshine is turning 25 years today! I cant believe I didn't know his birthday, until Phil told me. I guess Wilbur never had the need to tell me?
Whatever. I get up, hop into the shower, get changed and walk into the kitchen. I make myself some breakfast and I'm thinking about to make a birthday cake for Wilbur today. Idk what flavor he prefers but I can't ask him about it... it should remain a surprise.
While eating my breakfast, I scroll through Pinterest to look at some cake inspirations in terms of decorations and style and later on, on the internet to find a good recipe. I want the cake to be the best birthday cake Wilbur has ever eaten!

I found THE perfect cake to bake for my beloved: a heart shaped chocolate cake, with some strawberries on top, some cream in between and for decoration, I'll write 'Happy Birthday Wilby', on top, add some little hearts and flowers, and add some candles on top of it, which we'll light when it's time. I can't put 25 candles on it, so I set with just 5 at max. Should work tho.
Meanwhile through my baking, I get a text from Phil. I get a quick glance and by fastly looking at it, I can see that he told me something but I can't make out what it is. I stop my baking to check his message.

[Phil :D: Hello y/n! For the party today; Kristin and I decided to start the party at like 2:30pm! Everything is set up, Kristin is already decorating everything. What I need you to do also is to make Will come to my house yeah? BUT don't tell him why, just find a way to bring him over. Make sure it stays a surprise until the very last minute :) ]

2:30pm... ok I'll save the time. By that time, I should be done with the cake and also have Wilbur in my car. How will I make him go on my car without telling him tho.... Hmm...
Meanwhile the cake is baking, I decide to choose my outfit. Since it's a birthday party, I think I should wear something more...elegant? Like a dress or something. Not too elegant I mean I'm not going to a film premiere but just something in the middle...
My final outfit is: a dark blue dress that goes to my thighs, almost to my knees so it's not too short and not too long either. The dress has some beautiful crystals all over the top part with a diamond shaped stone in the middle. Around the waist part, a soft belt, that isn't actually a belt. Just for the aesthetics. With that I wear fitting blue heels with fitting blue earrings, my hair will be left open but I'll braid some strands of hair. Some make up... perfect!

Its 1:50pm now so I'll better drive over to Wilbur's house to pick him up. Should I call him or just text him so he'll be ready and not be confused about me coming over? I decided to call him.
"Hey babyy", Wilbur greets me as he picks up the phone. "Hey babe", I answer him back. "Babe, uh I just wanted to inform you, I'll come over to your house in a bit", I tell him, trying hard not to say why.
"Uh ok babe? I mean I'm always happy when you come over but.. does it have a reason? Are you in danger?", he asks concerned. I just giggle at it. "No no babe, nothing serious. I'll tell you when I'm there alright?", I let him know. Wilbur is still confused but he's gonna find out soon. "Ok babe, I wonder what it is. Bye, I love you", he says. "I love you too, bye", I hung up. I don't own a car yet, so I've rented one, especially for this occasion.
I take my cake with me + the gifts that I wrapped up yesterday night. He's gonna love it for sure.
I get into the rented car and make my way to Wilbur's. I cant wait to see his face...

Once at his apartment, I ring his door. It takes him a few seconds to open. We kiss each other and hug, before he asks me of why I needed to come over.
"Will, I need you to come with me. I have a surprise for you", I tell him, not to spoil what it is yet.
Of course beforehand, I've put the cake into the trunk, so Wilbur doesn't see it right away. The same with the guitar. "Alright babe but, where are we going?", he asks me, giving me a questioning look. "You'll see, now come", I make him kind of hurry up.
Wilbur packs his things and we make our way to the car. We'll drive to Phil's house he has rented here in Brighton. Of course during the car ride, Wilbur tried to make me tell him what it is but, I keep my mouth sealed. He'll know very soon.
"Will! Babe stop trying to tickle me! I'm driving", I try to stop him, but he just finds it too hilarious! He acts like a child at this point.
"Noooo not until you've told me baby! Where are we going? I need to know!", he keeps attempting to tickle me.
"Wilbur I swear to god you're acting like a child", I laugh out. Now he's acting like he's hurt.
"Oh nooooo, you've hurt me! Noooooo way you've called me that babe?! A child? Me? How dare you?", he whines, acting like he's about to die right now. I can't help but laugh at his sillyness. "You will know soon enough. Now calm yourself will", I laugh at him again. Wilbur is sitting straight up, saluting. I can't help but just laugh. This man's really acting like a child, but I love it.

We arrive just in time at Phil's. To not spoil anything just yet, I tell Wilbur to put on a blind fold, so he doesn't see where we're going. He hesitates but puts them on. I help him out of the car and guide him inside the house. Once I've opened the door, Phil knows it's me so he tells everyone to hide inside the house.
"Ok Will, you may remove the blinds now", I tell him excited. He hesitates again but removes it, and once he does that, he gets greeted with the best greet he's heard so far:
~HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILBUUUURRRR!!!~
"OH MY GOD, GUYS...", he begins to say, as he covers his mouth with his hands. He obviously can't believe it. Everyone comes to hug him, telling him their best wishes. "Happy Birthday to my canonical son", Phil says to Wilbur, hugging him tightly!
"Thank you, my canonical father", Wilbur answers back, giggling.
The surprise was a total success!! Wilbur has received many amazing gifts, including my guitar that I gave him. He immediately started crying, hugging me with tears. He told me he always wanted such a guitar but never could afford it really much.
Phil and Kristin gave him an Omnichord, Tommy gave him a little keychain (selfmade), Tubbo gave him a set of fidget toys (fidget spinners and similar stuff), Techno gave him a self made Minecraft pickaxe and all the other people also gifted him some amazing stuff. Wilbur was seriously always so close to cry- or was crying. Being happy for all the gifts he received and thanking each person.
After some time it was cake-time and both me and Kristin baked him a cake. "Guys, plz I don't deserve all of this, you need to stop now", Wilbur says, literally sobbing.
HE DID DESERVE THIS! We sang him 'Happy Birthday' and let him blow out the candles, making him wish for something. After we all had cake!
I've realized that Phil invited more people than what he's told me... I see some new faces tho.

While everyone eats their cake, music is playing in the back and, everyone is talking to each other. I make my way to meet the people I haven't seen yet.
Turns out their names are George, Jack Manifold, Fundy & James Marriot. Also Niki was here- THE Niki I've met at this store the other day, the girl I accidentally bumped into. Fundy told me he traveled from the Netherlands to the UK, to celebrate- impressive ngl.
George is really nice, also really funny. Jack is...bald but also funny. He knows how to entertain people. James is... James but he is very sympathetic and funny as well. I died many times of laughter.
Niki is a sweetheart and I finally got to know her better too. They're all streamers too which I find VERY impressive. I find it crazy how everyone I meet here, is streaming on Twitch. They must be a big friend group or something.
I also had conversations with Tommy, Tubbo, Techno, Phil, Kristin and obviously Wilbur. I found it very hard not to kiss him in front of everyone so, I quickly dragged him out of the crowd, into Phil's kitchen, away from everyone.
I wanted to tell him 'a happy birthday' in peace and in my own special way.
Without warning him, I kiss him softly, wrapping my arms around him, pulling him as close to me as I could. The kiss was more passionate than the last ones. We pull away, being in each other's arms.
"Happy Birthday to my favorite person in the whole world. Will, Baby, I- I couldn't properly tell you happy birthday in front of everyone so I dragged you in here for a moment. Will, thank you for stepping into my life. Idk where I'd be without you, what I'd do without you, who I'd be without you. My heart beats for you and, I'm in love with you. I want you, and you only. You're making me be the happiest girl alive. I'm so happy to have met you, to be with you, to know you. You keep me safe, you're literally my whole world. You mean so much to me. I love you baby. I want to be forever with you". - "Oh y/n... babe..", - he contains the tears, pushes me again close to him and kisses me so passionately. I hold him close on me.
"I'm also in love with you. Thank you so much. Thank you for being with me and thank you for making me be the happiest man alive. I want to be forever with you too. I want to be with you and provide you with everything you deserve/need. I want to make you happy. I want to always hold you and never let you go again y/n. I love you.". I wrap my arms around his stomach and place my head on his chest, which he gently holds onto him. We remain like this for a while, before I pull away.
"I have something for you", I tell him, pulling out the stuffed duck animal that I bought him.
"AWWWW, Y/N... stop I'm actually collapsing from all your cuteness. You're not allowed to melt me like that", he says, formally melting as I gift him the duck.
"This is for you Will, as a secondary gift. I liked it and I thought you'd too. Happy birthday baby", I say, giving him a kiss on his cheek.
"Do you want to kill me with your cuteness? Is that what you trying to do?", he jokingly asks me, hugging the duck. "No but just show you how much I love you and how much you mean to me", I tell him with a smile.
"Gosh, how did I deserve you?", he pulls me into a kiss again. I wish we would remain like this forever. Just me and him and no one else. Unfortunately we aren't and decided to slowly return back to the crowd, before anyone catches any suspicion.

As the party continues, we decided to play the funniest party games, mostly: Karaoke, Monopoly, a drinking game (adults only), Twister and so much more. Wilbur's birthday is getting celebrated the way it should be, and everyone is having fun.
I just felt from time to time uncomfortable cuz for some reason Jack, kept, at least for me, flirting with me. Always trying to tell me Pick-Up- Lines and in his drunk state, asking me for a dance and just weird shit. I most likely ignore it but I felt really weirded out, considering I'm with Wilbur but nobody knows yet.
At around 10pm, especially for me and Wilbur, we had to leave. My psychology classes start tomorrow and I need to be up by 6am, so I can't stay any longer. I need some sleep, otherwise I'd oversleep on the first day.
Wilbur and I say goodnight to the rest before we head to his place so I could drop him off and go to mine... but Wilbur has been really clingy all of a sudden, wanting me to stay at his place and cuddle him.
"Babeeeee, stay with meeeee.", he whines at me, begging me to stay. "But Babe, I have school tomorrow and all my stuff is at my apartment", I try to tell him. Of course it's so sweet when he wants me to stay at his but- all of my stuff is in my apartment.
"I want to be with you. Cuddle meeeee", he pulls me into a hug, kissing me. YES, Wilbur had been a little drunk but I just thought it was adorable.
After many attempts of him convincing me, I finally gave in. How can you not resist?
"Oookk Will BUT, I'll quickly drive to my apartment to take my things yeah?", I tell him and pull away from the hug.
"Alright baby, I'll wait for you", I kiss him again before driving off to collect my stuff.
I'm so excited for tomorrow. This is gonna be my first class and- I'm just excited to do this. I take my stuff and drive back to Will's.
I told him we shouldn't stay up too late cuz I'll need my sleep. He nods and we ended up sort of making out on the couch.
Yep, I can officially say I'm in love with this man and he makes me happier than any other man ever did.
