I looked back at the sudden call of my name, my eyes caught sight of a running Freddy that was quickly heading towards me. The ground shook a little at his every stomp as I patiently waited for him from where I stood.

He slowed down when he drew near me as he panted a bit from his small marathon, to which cause me to tilt me head in confusion. I thought that he was an anamatronic...

Why is he panting?

He finally caught his 'breath' as he looked at me apologetically. His jaw opened and closed for a second but words never came out of his voice box. To avoid any awkwardness, I decided to Greet him with a small smile.

"Hey Freddy"

He seemed to stop at my voice as he closed his jaw tight before greeting back, "Hello (Y/N)"

My smile grew as I nodded at this in acknowledgement, Waiting for him to say what his intentions were but he just stood there silently.

He collected his thoughts before he turned to me in conclusion, "I-uhm I'm sorry, I forgot what I was about to say..." he stuttered out.

"Pff–"

I instinctively laughed at this before quickly covering my mouth, Freddy just looked at me stunned.

Oh no, am I being rude?

I cleared my throat  as I look back at him and say "uhm–It's fine, We get like that sometimes. How are you?"

I shouldn't be too casual

"O-oh I've been doing fine"

"Ah that is nice"

We stood in silence after that, Freddy seemed to be avoiding eye-contact from me though as I frowned at this.

What happened today? I am very sorry. I was really exhausted and I didn't think straight, I sincerely–"

"You were like a different person..." He stated as he furrowed his brows at me. His form was slumped a bit as his ears dropped at what he said.

"Because I was, I'm sorry " I apologized as I sadly smiled at him.

It took him a few seconds to register what I had meant before giving me a questioning look, "What do you mean?"

I shrugged before glancing down at my Fazwatch,  "Well, I think I should be heading home‐"

A loud thud suddenly emitted before me as I glanced back up towards where Freddy once stood, Shock filled my features because he was kneeling down before me.

I could feel my heart drop at the sight and it doesn't feel so nice.

Oh shi–

"O-Oh I forgot about this. O-Officer (Y/N), I am slowly running out of po-power. I-I am truly sorry that–..." He cut himself off as his body swayed slightly, his eyes were slanted tiredly as I quickly caught him before his face met the floor.

"Freddy— O-Oh dear" I said as I struggle slightly at the weight.

Taking a deep breath, I managed to sit him up. Glancing at his face to see his iris's were still visible but his eyes were half-lidded, its LED lights flickered slightly yet he still looked conscience.
