It's My Shift

Five Days has passed, (Y/N) still Hasn't come back. Vanessa has been taking her shifts lately, Both Day shifts and Night shifts.

Today was supposed to be the start of (Y/N)'s third week, It was Tuesday and everyone was expecting that She's gonna show up tonight.

Sadly, It was Vanessa who showed up tonight. She was much more earlier than expected, two anamatronic's huffed in disability and headed back to their rooms. Leaving Chica and Freddy by the Entrance.

They wanted to Greet Vanessa tonight before they could leave to their rooms, so they approached her.

It was odd though; Usually, Vanessa would clocked in the moment she entered the Mega Pizza Plex. But this time, It looked like she was waiting for someone to come in.

She was facing the entrance with a disheartened look but she still carried on waiting, Glancing at her watch as often as she could.

"Goodevening, Officer Vanessa" Freddy Greeted her as she turned around to see them.

"Hi! Goodevening Vanessa" Chica cheerily followed right after as Vanessa Greeted them with a smile.

"Hey you two, What are you guys doing here?" She Greeted them but but followed it with a question.

Freddy and Chica glanced at eachother for a second, they didn't want Vanessa to feel discouraged that they were expecting someone else that wasn't her.

They could see the dark circles that formed under her eyes for the passed week, This woman was feeling stressed and tired. They didn't want her to feel crushed more.

"We were just, Roaming around and somehow we saw you here. We wanted to Greet you!" Chica said as she Flashed her a bright smile  Freddy followed along with a subtle nod and a small smile

Vanessa Hummed and grinned, "Thanks you two, I'm just waiting here for someone to show up"

"Someone to show up?" Freddy asked, His eyes sparkled as he assumed that (Y/N) would finally show up.

"I got into a call with her this morning, She said she's going to try whatever she can to take the shift Tonight." Vanessa beamed as the twins automation's cheered.

Suddenly they saw a yellow hooded figure enter the building, But it wasn't who they were expecting to be.

The figure was tall, taller than what (Y/N)'s supposed to be. He took off his hood and had an annoyed look on his face, his eyes wandered around for a second and saw the group that was staring towards him confused.

He stormed towards them, his hands were balled into fists as if he was enraged.

"Sir, I'm sorry. But the Mega Pizzaplex Is closed for Today–" Vanessa tried to scold the person, but she was intercepted with his cold and annoyed voice.

"I'm not here to roam around Officer, I'm here to speak in behalf of my sister" He started as he took a deep breath.

Sister?

"Are you Officer Vanessa?" He asked, trying to calm himself down. Vanessa took a step back as the two anamatronic's stood behind her side by side.

"Yes, By all means. Who is you Sister?"

"Officer (Y/N) (L/N)"

The automations looked surprised, uninformed that (Y/N) has a brother as Vanessa sighed and asked, "Mark, right?"

Mark subtly nodded and looked away before saying, "Listen, I'm not here to cause trouble or anything. I'm just Mad that you guys still let her work when she's all battered and bruised"

"What do you mean?" Freddy suddenly spoke up as Mark looked up at him surprised.

Freddy held a concerned look, Mark raised an eyebrow at him and was about to ask; how does this concern you?

When a faint memory entered his mind, A small smile abruptly appeared on his face before it fell the second it had shown itself.

"She didn't tell you?" He asked as they shook their heads, More concerned on what happened to their Friend upon hearing that she was injured badly.

"(Y/N) was called for an emergency one afternoon, there was a School Shooting" Mark started as the three felt an ache on their chest at the words, 'School Shooting'

"She was task to assist in the main Officer in  Charge and at some point, They were told in infiltrate the building secretly while the main officer would try to negotiate with the shooters—(Y/N) was incharge of the infiltration team." Mark fisted his hand again and and huffed but continued.

"Their team were in there for hours, I didn't know what happened because a I knew was that she Came out of that school dressed in blood and a few broken bones"

Chica Cupped her beak and if they were able cry, Tears would've perked up in her eyes as Vanessa took a Sharp inhale.

Freddy stayed quiet, But he was more concerned having to know such injury was inflicted on her.

"Did she tell you what happened to her inside?" Vanessa asked him, her hand reaching up to her face as she covered her mouth. This was a habit of her's— Whenever she feel worried, she would resort to this action.

Mark shook his head in dismayed and said, "She hasn't told me anything, All that she told me was that her head was hit with a bat that someone swung and she almost passed out at that. Children were being threatened with a gun and there were more shooters than they once spentculated, It was a Miracle that no one was shot dead"

"Where's (Y/N) now?" Chica asked him, Hoping that she was resting at her home at the moment to recover from her injuries.

Mark sighed and said, "My sister's a Stubborn fellow, She's waiting inside my Car for me to be do e talking to you to which begs me the question"

"You guys would still let her work tonight, When she's hurt all over?"

"I'll handle her shift tonight"

"Sis Please! She said she'll take your shift so that you can get some rest!"

"She needs to get some rest! I've been sleeping soundly for Five Days straight! I've rested enough, you can't lock me in your Car anymore!" I yelled back at him as I stormed in inside.

My brother may be athletic, but I'm much more faster.

My eyes wandered around the area as I caught sight of a hefty blond that was heading towards the security office.

"Vanessa!" I called out to her as she briskly turned around, shocked at the sound of my voice.

"(Y/N)?"

She then Grabbed my shoulders and scanned me from top to bottom, she then glanced from behind me; seeing my brother who was gasping for air, out of breath.

"You really need to get home (Y/N)" She stated and started to drag me towards my brother, But I held my ground.

"I'm taking my shift tonight Vanessa, Take Vanessa Home bro"
