I'm sorry I went silent after a couple of years

I'm sorry I made you all wait too long and left you all on a cliffhanger

I've read and re-read your comments, and I've also read my promises to you guys. I'm so very sorry, all I can tell you is that— life happened.

But that's not an excuse for my disappearance. I miss writing this book :<

A year ago, I attempted to write chapter 31 and it's still in my drafts rn but I don't have the courage to publish :<

But I wanna commit to writing again,

So, here's what I'm planning;

Double take will be REWRITTEN

There are grammatical errors and weird metaphors that I've used that don't seem to fit with my current writing style rn, and whenever I re-read my story— it doesn't really fit right with me.

The story will continue as it should :> It's going in the same direction, the same ending I've planned, so dw ^^ I will just be republishing chapters in this same book, and I'll have it up and running in a month or two.

Currently, I'm in college, taking up Social Studies/Sciences and it's quite a demanding course so I hope you guys won't expect daily updates :<

I really want to be consistent, but I guess that won't be possible for now. I hope you understand.

To compensate for my actions, I've skimmed through my story drafts and found an unpublished book called "Double Take (HS)", basically the high school version of this book. There's already a chapter 1🤩

It was supposed to be a thank you for the 20k reads in this book (Which was unbelievable for me then, but look at the current reads right now), yet I couldn't continue it because I was really focused on the main book.

I will have to finish writing the whole story before publishing it though so that you guys can read it without waiting anymore :))

I hope you guys won't mind me writing a different story during all this ^^, it was the reason why I was checking in Wattpad again and nastolgia hit me like a brick🥹

That was such a long announcement, but I'm pouring my heart into you guys. I miss writing for fun, for me and for my delulu fantasies about fictional characters.
