Millie
July 29th, 1994"Millie, Millie, it's time to wake up. We've got to get ready to go to the World Cup." Dad said softly as he gentle shook Millie's shoulder to wake her.
"Morning, Dad," she said as she opened her eyes. She sat up and stretched, and saw Dad move over to wake Millie's friend Lisa, who had spent the night in order to got to the World Cup with them. Paddy was able to get two extra tickets for Millie to bring Lisa, and Harry to bring Hermione, both of whom are muggleborn, and wouldn't get to see the World Cup unless a wizarding family brought them.
Millie glanced at the clock. 5:10. Millie and Lisa each got up and got themselves dressed, did their hair, and went down for breakfast. Dad rewarming some porridge he had made the night before to make things easier, as well as making some eggs and bacon. Paddy was making coffee.
"Nice of you to let Dad do all the hard stuff, Paddy," Millie teased.
"Trust me, he doesn't want me helping." Paddy quipped back. They smiled at each other playfully. Harry and Hermione made their way downstairs.
"We have a tent next to the Weasleys. Molly mentioned that Diana and her mom were coming with them. I think Neville and Augusta will be nearby as well." Paddy said.
"That sounds awesome!" Harry said.
They all ate their breakfast relatively quickly. Everyone grabbed their clothes bags, and Paddy grabbed the bag of camping supplies, and Dad grabbed the cooler with food for later, and they set off to catch their portkey, leaving the house around 5:45.
The walk to the portkey took about half an hour, and when they arrived Neville and Augusta were already there.
"Are the Bones' catching this portkey, too?" Paddy asked Augusta when they arrived. "I believe Amelia is already there, but Henry should be bringing his daughter Susan to catch this one." Augusta replied.
"Good thing we still have 15 minutes." Paddy said.
Millie looked around for the portkey, and spotted a rusty old tea kettle. That must be it.
"So how does this portkey thing work, again?" Lisa asked.
"You see that tea kettle?" Millie asked.
"Yep." Lisa replied.
"It's enchanted to teleport to the World Cup right at 6:30. So we'll all touch it, and if we are touching it right at 6:30, it will take us there with it." Millie explained.
"Got it." Lisa affirmed.
A few minutes went by before Henry and Susan appeared from the other side of the hill. Dad checked his watch.
"6:28! Everyone grab on!" He announced. Everyone gathered around the tea kettle on took hold, and then they all disappeared, and found themselves on a large field in Ireland moments later.
