Harry
July 21, 1994Harry woke up in a cold sweat. He was relieved at waking up, finding that he was not about to die in an abandoned manor. He bolted upright and put on his glasses. He had just gotten new ones, and it was a wonder how well he could see now. He looked over at the clock. 4:53am. Harry got out of bed and made a beeline for Uncle Sirius and Uncle Remus's room.
Harry knocked on the door, and Sirius opened it in his bathrobe a minute later. Normally, Harry would have expected it to be Remus, but the full moon was only a few days ago and he slept a bit deeper on those days.
"What's wrong?" Sirius asked.
"Uncle Sirius, I just had a horrible nightmare. And I think I was seeing something real." Harry answered.
"Ok, we're both awake now, and here for you. Come sit on the bed and tell us what happened." Sirius said.
Harry sat down at the foot of the bed, and Sirius resumed his spot in the bed. Remus was now sitting upright in his spot on the bed, and had turned the lamp on next to him.
"I'm sorry for waking you, I wouldn't do it if it wasn't really important." Harry said.
"We know. And you know our door is always open for something important." Remus replied.
"Ok. So I was in this abandoned manor next to a graveyard. Pettigrew was there, and there was another man that I didn't recognize. And I heard Voldemort's voice but I didn't see him, so I'm guessing that the other guy was a death eater. They were talking about a way to bring Voldemort back, and it involved me. Then a giant snake showed up and told Voldemort that there was a muggle spying on them, and Voldemort ordered Pettigrew to kill him. He cast the Killing Curse, and that's when I woke up." Harry explained.
"It's over now. It's ok, your safe with us." Sirius assured him.
"Harry, is this dream anything like the ones you had when you were little? Like you were seeing something that really happened all over again." Remus asked.
"Yes. Exactly like that, except I wasn't actually there for this one." Harry answered.
"Ok. Thank you for telling us. We'll do what we can to keep you safe." Remus said.
Remus and Sirius wrapped Harry in their arms, like they did when Harry was little, even though he didn't quite fit the same, he still felt loved, and safe, and heard. He trusted his Uncles completely.
