I apologize deeply for the lack of content. It's my fault, I regret not updating this sooner. Rest assured, I will resume updating the story, it has gone without update long enough. I just don't know where to start...

Let's start with a little chapter with Barry and Kara.

I'm a little rusty at this, so let me try and get things back to speed.

...

Kara walked into the apartment, her super hearing picking up on the distant explosions and the roar of jet engines as they passed by the city.

"They're getting closer, soon they'll be at the city outskirts," Kara told Barry as he walked in and closed the door.

"The boats are getting here, Japan already has its refugee camps set up, we can start immigrating to Europe now," Barry said.

"This is our home Barry, we were gone for so long that it became unrecognizable," Kara murmured, tears welling in her eyes.

"It isn't our fault Kara, you know that the Reich would eventually split apart, our plans, our purges, they weren't going to go unanswered, this is retribution," Barry told her.

"Sometimes I think that being a hero in that other universe warped your mind a little too much," Kara said.

"You didn't seem to rebel against my thoughts when I told you."

"It was the right thing to do, now I know what it's like to be a prisoner, I know what it's like to suffer as they do," Kara whispered.

Barry sighed and sat down on the couch, Kara took off her cape and sat next to him, curling into him.

"I just don't want to see our home desecrated," Kara whispered.

"I don't either, but what other choice do we have?" Barry asked.

"We fight back, fight with everything we have," Kara said with conviction.

"Our forces are tired, Kara, we need to regroup."

"You're right, I can't argue with that."

She lay her head on his shoulder, Barry laid the side of his face on the top of her head.

"Natasha, how did she look like?" Kara asked out of the blue, Barry chuckled.

"She was beautiful, you would have liked her," Barry told her.

"Do you have a picture?" Kara asked, Barry, nodded.

He stood up and headed into the room, he came out with a special box with an hourglass on it. He opened the lid and pulled out a photo.

"This is the most recent picture I have of her," Barry told her as Kara looked at it

"This is the most recent picture I have of her," Barry told her as Kara looked at it.

"I can see the appeal, she's very pretty," Kara told him.
