Overgirl: Dark Reign-Overkrieg (HALTED- ON HIATUS)

Prologue

WELCOME! Today is a very special day, this is going to be the longest chapter I have ever written, and I will be a pioneer in the Earth-X stories. epic twists, turns, and awesome action sequences will be in this, also this will be a story of love between a Speedster and a Kryptonian. This is the start of the greatest story I have probably ever written, but all my stories are great. 

If you haven't seen my other stories, then many references won't make much sense in the first chapters. You should check it out, but whatever floats your boat.

A black figure was flying in the air. 

My name is Kara Zor-El, you all know me as Overgirl, the supreme General of the Reichman. Now I am a ruler over my people after my husband betrayed me and I escaped confinement with some help, I am now the guardian of Earth-X, wiping scum and villainy from Earth along with my cousin Kal-El, or better known as Overman, son of the Reich.

There was a time of peace, all the way back in time, back on Krypton in the twilight hours of the golden age, when there were no enemies, no inferior races or people.

She wasn't always the cold, calculated, and brutal general of the Reich. She wasn't always Kara Smith either, Kal-El wasn't Overman or a warmongering general of the Reich either. She wasn't exactly a natural inhabitant of the earth, and neither was her cousin. Back on Krypton, Kara was born into the military guild, her father was a master strategist and fighter as well as his friend, Dru Zod. Jor-El was in the Science guild as their mother and father had separated from one another, with their father taking Zor-El and assimilating themselves in the military guild, while their mother took Jor-El and headed for the science guild. Kal was born into the science guild but he would never know Krypton's science.

Her uncle Jor-El was once a clerk in the Kryptonian hall of records. As he learned more about Krypton's past, he grew increasingly concerned about the present corruption in high places such as the ruling council and inequality among the masses. Jor-El became inspired by the words and ideas of a gladiator.

Jor-El's brother, Zor-El took the warrior way instead. He was a gladiator in the pits of Krypton, particularly Argo city. Zor-El had won every match he was challenged to, defeating the most dangerous creatures ever to roam Krypton's surface.

Zor-El vowed to challenge Krypton's leadership and demanded that all Kryptonians be treated as equals. This gladiator who was Kara's father turned revolutionary very quickly, he rapidly gained a loyal following, general Zod chief among them. Jor-El began to talk more and more with his brother, who came to be something of a mentor to Jor-El.

Zor-El left the gladiatorial arena for the political he saw fit to make an alliance with his brother. The house of El was one of the most prestigious houses in all of Krypton, but there was only one spot in the council, and that was being the head of the said council.

Before long, Zor-El appeared before the high council to propose his vision for a just society.

Zor-El was seen to be arguing with the high council, raising his hands in the air as he shook his head.

And it was here that Kara's father showed his true colors. He proclaimed the need to overthrow the old guard with force, he arrogantly demanded to be named the next council leader of Krypton. But he was overshadowed by his brother, Jor-El.

Jor-El did not believe in violence as a means of justice. The souls and minds of the council were moved by Jor-El's words. It was here, for the first time since the beginning of Krypton's golden age, stood someone worthy of being on the council.

His ambitions thwarted, Zor-El severed his connections to his brother. He came to wage war on all those who opposed him through his growing army of followers. He vowed to take Krypton over and rule it with an iron fist. Kara was a child when the war started.
