"What are you two doing?" Remus asked Mary and (Y/n), who were looking over a piece of paper together.
"Nothing," Mary said.
"Planning the houses will we break into, the stuff we will take, and the crimes we will commit," (Y/n) said in a rather believable way.
"Uh-huh..." Remus mused. (Y/n) slid the paper into Lily's hand. Lily subtly unfolded it and scanned over it.
"What is it?" Lily whispered, keeping her eyes on the current speaker.
"List of things for the girls' weekend," (Y/n) whispered back. "Add what you like."
"Who's participating in this 'girls' weekend'?" Lily asked.
"Hermione, Ginny, Marlene, Molly, Dorcas, Alice, Mary, me, and you if you want in," (Y/n) whispered. "Penny, Merula, and Freyja have been invited but I haven't heard back. It is short notice, I admit... We're making a checklist of potential things to do," she explained. "Hence why it's a girls' weekend rather than day, I suppose... We're still coming back here for the night, obviously..."
"I see," Lily murmured. "Count me in."
"Brilliant," (Y/n) murmured, leaning over to deliver the news to Mary, who nodded. "Pass the list down to Marlene if you've got nothing to add."
"Got it."
"Where are you going?" Harry asked, eyeing his mum, who was usually dressed down for her days off.
"Girls' day," Lily answered shortly. "Do we have more sunscreen?" she bellowed for anyone to answer.
"I've got lots already packed in my truck!" Mary shouted back, coming down into the basement with Alice.
"Girls' day?" Harry frowned. "Without me?" Lily rose an eyebrow, amused.
"What do you mean?" Lily asked.
"Where are you going?" James asked.
"Girls' day," Lily sighed.
"Weekend," (Y/n) corrected.
"Yes, girls' weekend," Lily smiled.
"Mum, you can't just leave us to fend for ourselves!" Fred cried as the Weasley boys followed their mother down to the basement.
"You'll be just fine. You know how to order pizza, you can take care of yourselves," Molly said.
"Why not have a boys' day?" Marlene suggested. "At the house, obviously." She glanced towards Sirius, who frowned. "Unless you get a haircut and wear a face mask all day, you can't go anywhere," Marlene said simply.
"Boys' day? That doesn't sound bad at all," George murmured. "Video games, chips and dip, and... manly stuff? How exciting."
"Manly stuff? Like painting your nails?" (Y/n) said seriously.
