Chapter 2: Park Sunghoon

It has been 3 days since I started helping Jake get a good grades. Everytime he got it wrong I chuckle and he pouts.

I dont know what got into me that night. It was very perfect. Me with him. Him with me. I was very happy when he asked me to help him study more. I've done this with anyone who asked for my help but when he was the one asking, it seems like my world stop for a second and return back after two. His eyes staring at me makes me wanna swam into those holes of hope that maybe, maybe he likes me too.

I was standing in front of my locker getting my things ready. I look around but still no sign of him. I saw his group of friends but he wasn't there with them.

Jake is a sociable person. He is very friendly and very opposite of me. I don't talk to any one unless I needed to. He made me talk with his friends. One of them is Heeseung. They do understand me but it still made me stutter in front of them.

"He-hey."

Jay look at me with enthusiasm and greeted.

"Oh Sunghoon! Your here? I thought your with Jake."

He said while looking around, probably looking for him.

"I haven't seen him."

"Well that's first."

Heeseung replied showing up from behind Jay. He bid hi and I smile at him.

"Yeah, not to mention the guy's always with you first thing in the morning."

That's true. Jake will always look for me first thing in the morning-not that I always assume him to- and I would find him standing in front of my locker, on the gate or in the corridor if not fetching me from my apartment.

"Maybe their coach set up an early team up meeting."

That made me think twice. Jake's maybe sociable but he never introduce me to his team, and I have never heard about his plans regarding meetings with his coach.

I sigh in defeat thinking maybe that is where he is. I look at them again with a clear 'I'm sad' plastered on my face.

"Ok, I think I'll take my leave then."

"Bye Sunghoon."

They said in unison. I smile at their silliness.

"Bye."

Once the bell rings, all I could think of is him. We have the same first and second subject but the rest of the time we are separated, leaving dismissal as the safest time to be together with him. I haven't seen him this morning. That almost bring me down if I didn't see him running towards me on the hall way.

"Hey!"

He stop, ragged breathing in the background. I look at him curling down, hands on his knees as he tries to gain ĺ composure. He lean up and gave his famous toothy smile at me. Ok please stop, your giving me an heart attack.

"Hey."

I shyly said. Also trying to compose my heart rate.

"I'm sorry I was late. Kelby just decided to turn me down just this morning."

I smile at him. My heart warms at every word he said. It's like he put a spell on me and that every time he speaks I'll melt exactly at that moment. Kelby? It's just his car. He likes naming things, he even almost name his phone after Lily.

"It's alright."

He calm down a bit after the running marathon he did. He smile at me and starts leading us to our first class. History.
