Izuku Midoriya was welcomed harshly to a secluded room.

Surrounded by police and a detective in a beige long coat. All of them gave threatening gazes to the green haired teen, well, except for the detective. He simply held a calm look on his face, which for some reason freaked him out more than the obvious violent stares of the officers.

He was seated in a chair in the middle of the hospital room that he met Toga about half an hour ago. While the detective sat across from him in another chair; while the officers were at the windows, door, and walls of the room. None of them really said anything only a few coughs or internal groans. Meanwhile the detective sat their, leaning back on his chair, not really waiting for anything since they never asked him anything.

   He was confused beyond belief.

Our protagonist had no reasonable idea as to why he was being set in this situation. What scared him was how serious most of them look towards him. These men and women were not here just to guard the detective.

  No.

They were on standby, ready to lift up their weapons and pull the trigger without any form of hesitance. They were not standing in their places with deaf ears and blind eyes; they listened to every sound that was in that room. The hum of the fans, the shouting and talking of other patients, they saw every movement. Whether it'd be the open windows breeze calmly wafting the curtains of the beds and window seal, or it being every single intake of oxygen he made.

Yet despite the police men and women's stern looks. The man across from him, the detective, was rather calm and casual about the situation.

No form of anger, sternness, or even the attempt of sitting upright and puffing out his chest to feel intimidating to the shy teen. He just sat there, back against the chair he sat in, wearing a small yet relaxed smile spread across his lips, right leg a top his left in a what seemed like a comfortable sitting position for the man.

As stated, this made our protagonist even more scared of him then the rest. Because of how casual the tall man acted. As if he did this kind of thing for decades, which he more than likely has, and not just to shy, timid, and plain looking teenagers, no, he felt that this man interviewed and interrogated living monsters of society, villains from all over the country of Japan. This thought of the casual looking adult only furthered his fear of him. What was worse was the smaller boys small tendency to mutter was worrying him. If he were to accidentally start muttering, he didn't want to imagine what the police would do to him.

Luckily it never came to this...Instead something else happened.

In his core, Izuku felt the need to clear his throat. Lifting his hand up in a balled fist, he was about to perform the needed action before every single police man in flash had reached for their firearms, thankfully they stayed inside their holster. After this, the shy boy lost his need for clearing his neck of its annoyance. And quietly returned his arm to his side. After small inhale, the guards all slowly reformed their posture to crossing their arms behind their backs and standing straight.

"Forgive them.", Turning his head towards the source of the sudden noise, Izuku saw it was the detective. Whom continued, "They're just scared is all.".

Calmly as he could, our protagonist replied, "W-Why are thuh-they afraid of me?". This question had a slight tilt of the head given to the beige wearing man. This question had confused the officers as well.

"You, do not know?", he asked in response.

Shaking his head with his two index fingers tapping against the other, the green haired boy was truthfully confused about this situation. This was confirmed by the detectives quirk, which allowed him to tell if a person is or isn't lying. And this shy, timid teen passed by the isn't lying spectrum with flying colors.
