"He wanted you BOTH to suffer, quite...quite...painfully...".
The words of Yuichiro felt nothing more than a hot knife, and Himiko was the butter. Izuku was barely spared any words that left the very man who shot him; they were numbed to a degree, as the only truly painful thing was the very bullet inside of his side. And by whatever chaos god he worshipped, it fucking stung. He was still unsure if it was from the actual fact that a piece of metal was sunken into his flesh, or the fact that the bullet was still a bit hot and was still burning the tissue around it.
But there was a matter of question, who was it? Who was this figure that wanted these two to suffer ever so much? And why...
Himiko, for one, wasn't too focused on the question; she was currently focused on two things at the very moment. The most important one being that she made sure to help the green haired boy she loved not bleed to death. The second top important thing next to that was tearing out Yuichiro's innards, and strangling him with them. But if she was being truly honest...
The only thing her mind felt the most focused upon was the red liquid that drooled out Izuku.
Between her finger tips, the prints upon them, hell even between her nails like needles, she could feel the ever warm blood ooze unto her skin with a warmth that rivaled the sun. Within her mind, she was scattered from one thing to the next; at one point it was her stressing over the fact our protagonist was shot, the next she was salivating at the beautiful tapestry that was his blood.
And she wasn't sure if it was her mind playin tricks on her, but she couldn't help but shiver at how it seemingly slithered from her hands, slowly up her forearms, and proceed to choke her neck like a noose. Himiko's once shocked ramblings of worry for the green haired boy she loved dissolved into nothing short of choking croaks, and sensation of wanting to throw-up gargled inside of her throat. She could barely even breathe, it felt just like in her nightmares of maddening suffocation when her alternative ego seems to plague her in the night. Except unlike those times, this was real; everything that was happening right now was real. And that suffocating feeling was happening right before Midoriya's very eyes.
The emerald green eyed boy couldn't do anything but helplessly watch as the girl he loved gave him a thousand yard-like stare upon his body's favorite liquid. Now her hands were raised up, and spread out like kites in front of her face as she croaked and groaned in lack of voice, lack of air, lack of all that made her...her.
Izuku wanted to reach up his arms, and embrace her, in all hopes that perhaps with his presence being in a more soothing position he may calm her down. Alas, the pain that was in his side, and the ability to even breathe, let alone sit up and embrace someone, made it feel more difficult than the All American Dream Plan that he had to endure for ten months. What was more was the fact that if he did the action of reaching for her, he could very well make this already wretched situation worse.
In the end, like always, he was helpless to do anything.
It also didn't exactly help that Yuichiro had to start mouthing off. As the villain walked a few steps forward, he couldn't help but chuckle as he asked, "What's the matter Himiko Toga? All of a sudden terrified of blood? Well it's not my business to intrude into the subject, but I suppose the whole part of your defense was true; you are being rehabilitated. It would also appear that you were in fact, insane.".
The ash blonde haired girl spoke nothing still, and all she did was try her utmost to hide away this sudden sensation of dread in her breast within the very hands that were soaked with blood. Meanwhile all the green tufted individual could do was sputter out a few loose drops of blood that had caught themselves in his lungs out through his mouth whilst he glared at the man.
