   "W...What?".

A serious face, one that had rarely ever before been made upon the green haired woman's face. Yet, one with such sadness and worry; it resembled that of a face that had been burned and welded into his mind ever since he was four years old.

"Has Toga-Chan, ever been heavily addicted to any substances...?".

The expression held frim with so much worry yet serious attitude, not even tears could make themselves known to the woman's face.

   Addicted? Substances?

These were words that should have been and easy to answer question, yet that was not the case for the green haired boy. Never before had he had to experience such a hard question in his life; to hell with pre calculus and what not, telling his mother that his best friend was heavily addicted, and still is, to seeing people covered in blood and ingesting the bodily liquid was the last thing he wanted to tell as there were several reasons; however, the top two were more than enough . The first was that he would be violating their agreement of never telling others that she was a criminal and or that they were affiliated with one another. The second being that if he did tell her the slightly pudgy woman would freak out and more than likely call the police to protect her son.

   But...

The shy boy looked back down his apartments hallway to his rooms door. He could bet that Himiko was sprawled out on the bed still asleep, drenched in her own sweat and breathing heavy like an asthmatic person with a smoke based quirk. If he told his mother that his answer was yes, that meant that he could help her.

He knew little about addictions and what they can do to people; if they were going through withdrawals from the substance they were addicted to. All he really knew was what you could be addicted to, and that they were a bad influence on your body's health, but now that his mother brought up the topic of addiction, it all sort of made sense to him now. Why he couldn't find the illness, why he couldn't figure out what was needed to help her get better; well, now he did...His own flesh and blood...literally.

Izuku looked down at the ground, and all he could do is nod with terrible realization within his emerald green eyes, now narrowed and losing all light that reflected off of them. Inko placed both of her hands up against her lips in shock, After a small pause, she asked softly to her son, whom she could tell was just now realizing himself, "Wuh...Izuku, what was...IS...she heavily influenced by? If we know, we can get her proper help.".

He shook his head, "Nuh-No...we can't...".

   "What? What do you me-".

The main character of our story had done something he had never, ever, done before in his life. He interrupted his mother, with a loud and sad voice; a voice the cracked and echoed throughout the entirety of their home.

"BECAUSE...!!", he looked away guiltily, "Buh-Because she wasn't...ISN'T, addicted to any drugs, alcohol o-or smoke ingested brand...Sh-She's...She's heavily addicted to ingesting peoples blood...". The green haired woman's eyes widen in shock, disbelief, and confusion. "Sh-She likes seeing people covered in it...b-but she mainly likes i-ingesting it...I-It's...I-It's entirely because of...her quirk..".

"S-So, you mean...", the shorter woman moved her hands down to her sons, looking up at him with worry, shock, sadness, and a whole plethora of emotions.

He rubbed his neck slowly, "Y-Yeah, she's a villain...".

The second those words hit her ear, the woman couldn't handle the weight what had just hit her so she fell down under weakened legs that could no longer support her weight, and a dizzying sensation reaching her mind as it couldn't piece together the numbers to make the sum she needed.
