WARNING THIS IS SHITTY, CRINGY, AND CLICHÉ BUT IT MADE ME CACKLE SO WHY NOT PUBLISH IT

You were on your way to your meet up with Tanjiro. It's been awhile since you two caught up because of your missions. You both promised to meet each other at your favorite restaurant and let's just say going there wasn't the best trip.

While you finally got to the village, it was already late in the afternoon, adn to your dismay it started raining. Heavily. It claimed up your ankles then a few minutes later it was up to your waist. All the stores were closed by then and the vlouds blocked the small ray of sunlight left so it was as dark as night. Luckily for you you were already close by the meet-up place by the time it got dark.

"Tanjirooo! Are you there?"

"Tanjirooo" you called hoping he was there. Fortunately he stayed at the rest and heard you.

"Ah! Y/N! I'm still here!"

You heard him then followed his voice. You then arrived at the rest soaking wet.

"Ne Y/n-san daijoubu?" he worried seeing you shivering and wet.

"Ohhh I'm fine I'm fine. It's just a little wate- ACHOO"

"Yeah I guess I need to ask for towels if they have any" Tanjiro said while scratching his head.

"Ah thanks" then he left to ask the vendor for some help.

You then clenched your necklace tightly remembering to check if it was still there. Tanjiro took notice of that and asked about it.

"Ne Y/n, I don't think I ever saw you without your necklace, is it important to you?" he tilted his head while holding a kitchen towel.

"Ah I never told you? Well anyway my grandmother gave it to me, telling me to always remember that during dark days I should be the sunlight in the room. Though that role's taken by you already" you ended your sentence with a chuckle.

"Ahh but y/nn you're a ray of sunshine too you know?" then he put on his iconic smile.

"You're brighter though." you smiled with him.

The two of you then waited while eating the food Tanjiro ordered earlier for the two of you. Then you two chatted passing the time, waiting for the rain to stop.

"Oh! It stopped raining!" you looked outside

"Ah you're right! But y/n-san, we can't stay here and it's getting late. Are you okay with going out even though the water's still high?" he asked

"It's fine, it's better to sleep at home though right?"

"Okay! Let's go, but wait. Should we hold hands so we won' t lose each other?"

"Hmm? O-oh okay hehe" you shyly extended your hand out to him then looked back at it and the two of you blushed.

"Thank you mister for letting us stay here!" Tanjiro called out.

"It's okay and please come again you two!" the vendor replied

"Hehe, let's get going now shall we?" then the two of you went out of the store hand-in-hand heading home. TWO SEPARATE HOMES OF COURSE HAHA!

As the two of you walked around trying to get home, it was a decent walk let's say except for the... Obvious water reaching your hips. But, to add to the misfortune, you suddenly felt your necklace snatched.

"T-Tanjiro! My necklace snapped! Though it's kinda weird for it to be gone because it's held on for all my missions- BUT IT'S GONE"

"Eh? Really?" he then turned around to see the thwif holding your necklace... He hasn't vanished yet bc, the water.

"HEY GIVE THAT BACK!!" Tanjiro shouted.

"You two shouldn't be put this late, get an inn or something I don't care what you two do after that" the theif shrugged then hopped off to the roof and went away.

"GET BACK HERE-"

"Tanjiroo it's okay, and he's right we need to go to an inn because we aren't going anywhere at this rate." You soothed

"But wasn't that special to you?" he put his finger on his chin

"Ehe, it's just a necklace, don't need to worry about that. Now come on let's go" you tugged at him and continued walking. But the red-head boy looked back at the roof for a moment then followed you.

You two arrived at an inn and because this author says so you and Tanjiro had two separate rooms and went separate ways washing up. Before you two entered your rooms you both greeted each other a 'goodnight'.

- the next morning

You woke up and... Went back to sleep. After 30 minutes of rolling arou d in the bed you then reluctantly got up, walked to the mirror and fixed your hair. Everything was normal as always like you still have the same hairstyle, no bruises, same e/c eyes and your neckla- oh yeah it's gone.

After you washed up and fixed yourself you then went to Tanjiro's room not knowing what was behind that door.

"Tanjirooo let's eat" you walked lazily into his room without even knocking... And because you didn't you saw him half naked working out with Nezuko in the background cheering him up.

"Uhhh should I go Orr?" you pointed at the door while staring at them abs.

"It's okay Y/n-San. Oh, and before you say anything... Here!" he stopped to talk to you then handed you a silvery thing.

"What's this?" you tilted your head, taking the silvery thing

"Oh you'll know" he beamed along with his sister.

'Th-this has got to be a dream- my necklace is here and I got to see Tanjiro half - naked for goodness sake' you thought

"Tanjiro pinch me." you demanded while still looking at the nevklace

"Eh? No I would neve-" then he was cut off by seeing Nezuko pinching you slightly.

"NEZUKO NO!!" he panicked which made you panic because you realized it wasn't a dream.

"AAAAAAHHHH YOU'RE REAL THIS IS REAL THE. WORLD IS GONNA END AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!" YOU SCREAMED

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHH" THEN TANJIRO SCREAMED

"MMMMMMMMMMMMMM" THEN NEZUKO MMMED!!

Then you woke up.
