How you two met:
You saw him stuck in the tree where he got struck by lightning. You called to ask if he was alright, he looked at you then got struck by lightning. When he woke up he saw you first then that sparkle in his eye came before asking you to marry him. You agreed somewhat.
How you agreed:
You made contract with him that you'll both act as a married couple for a year and at the end of it you two will decide if you wanna do it officially. He definitely agreed and was ecstatic.
How others reacted:
Tanjiro: Accepting but skeptical
Inosuke: Didn't really care
Nezuko: same as Tanjiro
Kyojuro: Didn't really like the idea but thought it was cute

How it went:
It went really well for the first few months, Zenitsu was really clingy and cherished you. You enjoyed it for a while and also adored him. But then you said he was too much on the 3 month mark. It made you two distant for a few weeks and the others noticed. Zenitsu was devastated.
How it ended:
You got over it when you realized how lonely it is without the constant compliments and attention your "husband" gave you. When you mustered up the courage to apologize, you asked Tanjiro and he said he was behind the butterfly estate. Turns out Zenitsu planned a full on "I'm Sorry" banner and a song for you. You both accepted and after the 1 year contract and Muzan's defeat. You both got officially married.
