You guys are childhood friends here and still in childhood.

You yawned, and welcomed the day. It was a good morning and also you wanted to play wi- Ino.. kun??

You looked around, check your covers then outside.

"Dad, where's Ino-kun?"

"Hehe, he ate all our food then left I guess. I don't know where he is either" your dad chuckled with an irk mark on his face

'That boar head, we fed him and let him sleep in our home and he repays us with this'

'Oh no daddy's scary again, better leave'

Then you both chuckled and left with an awkward silence.

"I'mma go find him, see you later daddy!" you said then hugged him which made him calm down a little

"Okay N/N, I'll go buy some more food then. You can come to the market if you want to find me" he hugged you back

"Okay!!" you broke the hug then went to the boar den.

"Ino-kuuun! Ino-kuun", you called out while wandering in the forest. Then you heard growling and squealing noises to your right.

"Aww there you are" you sighed, looking at your little boar friend playing with his supposedly 'siblings'

Inosuke was running around with the boarlets then suddenly one of them changed direction and charged at you.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!" You screamed and covered your head but then a black and brown blur sped up to you and growled. Turns out it was your "Inoshishi" protecting you from his 'sibling'

~ Inoshishi means boar in Japanese ~

You stood in shock for a moment then exhaled the breath you didn't know you were holding.

"Phew, thanks Ino-kun" you pat his head while he's still breathing heavily.

"M-M/N"

~ M/N = mispronounced name ~

"Huh? You said my name? Say it again! Again!" You cheered

"M/N"

"Ehh, close enough" you shrugged. Then he left you and played again with his 'siblings'. You laughed when you watched the little boarlets run. Then one approached you slowly, you were a bit scared because of your recent incident. But then it tilted its head which you found cute, then you pat the grass beside you and the little boarlet snuggled beside you.

"Aww, such a cutie" you said as it rubbed its head against you. Little did you know, another little 'boarlet' was glaring at the one beside you. It suddenly headbutted the one with you causing it to squeal which made you gasp, worried for the little one. It quickly shook its head then ran to it's mother, while the 'assailant' rested it's head on your lap. You then facepalmed.

"Haaa, Ino-kun, you must be kinder to you siblings ok?" You sighed while petting him. He tilted his head.

'SERIOUSLY STOP BEING SO CUTE YOU LITTLE HAASDGJDGH!'

"... AWW COME ON! How can I stay mad at this cute face. So this is what dad feels" You pinched his furry cheeks (he got his mask on ok?) while mumbling the last part.

"Ah! Ino-kun! How about we join daddy in the marketplace! We could even get some tempuraaa.." you cocked your eyebrow, tempting him. He suddenly beamed and nodded his head furiously.

"Yayy!! Let's go!" you took his hand then ran to the town.

"We're here. Now, to find dad" you whispered, hiding behind the bushes while squinting your eyes looking for your father.

"Hmmm.. There he is!" you pointed after spotting your dad's iconic smile. You dragged your friend out of the bushes then went to your dad.

"Dad! Dad! I found hiim!" you jumped at your father with leaves on both your heads.

"Aww you came! And you too!" He said with a closed eye smile but it was pretty obvious he didn't like the other kid beside you.

"Oooh! Tempura!" you suddenly ran away when you saw what you've been looking for, other than your dad of course.

"Hey! Stop running away!" your dad called, following you.

"Woow" you and your friend both said in awe with sparkles in both your eyes as you looked at the food before you. There was takoyaki, shioyaki, yakitori, and of course, tempura.

~ If I got it all wrong sorry I only did a bit of research so forgive me ~

You both licked your lips while Inosuke was about to take one you slapped his hand away.

"No! You must wait for daddy to pay first with money!"

"M-money?"

"Yes, money, little metal things I think?" you said, with your finger on head head doing a 'think think think winnie the pooh pose'

'I'm so proud of my daughter!! Teaching a feral boy manners!' you dad thought with heart eyes and his hands together, observing your shenanigans ('♡▽♡') then approaching you two.

"Oh! Dad's here! Daddyy can we have some tempuraaa" you begged with your bet puppy eyes on. He tried to resist it since he already had food for you in his hands but.. how could he?

"Gaww fine, 3 tempuras to go please. Here you pay" he asked the vendor then handed the coins to Inosuke.

"Money?"

"Yes now give it to the man so you can have your tempura" you pointed. Then insouke handed the money to the weirded out vendor and when he recieved his food, he looked so elated then gobbled it all up.

"Ohh, Ino-kun" you sighed then ate your meal.
