Chapter 16
Reagan's P.O.V.
"So get out, get out, get out of my head
And fall into my arms instead
I don't, I don't, don't know what it is
But I need that one thing
So get out get out get out of my mind
(Out of my mind)
And come on come into my life
I don't I don't don't know what it is
But I need that one thing
And you've got that one thing."
I wake up to Liam singing. "Did you sing to me all night?" I ask, my voice barely above a whisper. "No I just woke up a few minuets ago." He says. I nod approvingly and snuggle up closer to him. My arms around his stomach. I put my head on his chest. "Do you still not feel good?" He asks. I nod my head. He reaches over and grabs my medicine from the side table and a glass of water.
"Take it." He commands. I pop the pill in my mouth and gulp it down with water. I cringe at the effort it takes to swallow. He takes the glass from me and puts it back. Noticing my discomfort he pulls me closer and starts rubbing my back in small circles.
"There was a time
I used to look into my father's eyes.
In a happy home
I was a king, I had a golden throne.
Those days are gone,
Now the memory's on the wall.
I hear the songs
From the places where I was born.
Upon the hill across the blue lake,
That's where I had my first heartbreak.
I still remember how it all changed.
My father said,
Don't you worry, don't you worry, child.
See heaven's got a plan for you.
Don't you worry, don't you worry now.
Yeah!
Don't you worry, don't you worry, child.
See heaven's got a plan for you.
Don't you worry, don't you worry now.
Yeah!
There was a time
I met a girl of a different kind.
We ruled the world,
I thought I'd never lose her out of sight.
We were so young, I think of her now and then.
I still hear the songs reminding me of a friend.
Upon the hill across the blue lake,
That's where I had my first heartbreak.
I still remember how it all changed.
My father said,
Don't you worry, don't you worry, child.
See heaven's got a plan for you.
Don't you worry, don't you worry now.
Yeah!
Oh, oh, oh!
Oh, oh, oh!
See heaven's got a plan for you
See heaven's got a plan for you
See heaven's got a plan for you
Don't you worry, don't you worry, child.
See heaven's got a plan for you.
Don't you worry, don't you worry now.
Yeah!
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh!
Yeah!"
He sings to me. I smile at the sound of his voice. "Breakfast for the lovley lady!" Louis comes in with the rest of the crew carrying a tray of food. I smile at him. "Louis you didn't have to!" I say as loud as I could.
"Hush child!" Harry says putting his finger to my lips. I stop talking immediately and they all laugh. "No eat your food!" Zayn commands. I pick up a piece of toast and nibble on the corner as they talk to Liam about my state.
As they talk Liam is sitting up next to me with his arm around me. He lightly rubs my shoulder as they talk and I attempt to eat my waffles with no such luck. I drink the milk Louis brought me and it feels really good on my throat. After I finish I poke Liam to let him know.
"Yes Reagan?" He asks. I point at my food then my stomach and I rub it. "You're done?" He asks. I nod. Then I point to my empty milk glass. "You want some more milk?" He asks chuckling. I nod happily. "Coming right up!" Louis yells sweeping the tray off my lap and running to the kitchen.
He runs back in with the glass of milk and hands it to me. I nod to thank him and drink the milk. Everyone walks out after wishing me better and they close the door. "I love those guys." I whisper looking up at Liam.
"Fuck it." He says smashing his lips to mine.
I lean in to the kiss and tangle my fingers in his hair. He smiles in the kiss.
He flips me over and gets on top of me biting my bottom lip. I moan and tug at his hair. A growl comes from deep in his throat.
"Hey Reagan do you-" Zayn starts walking in.
We quickly pull away to look at him.
"Never mind." He says walkin out flushed.
Liam and I both start laughing. I snuggle up to him and he lightly kisses my lips before I fall asleep.
