Chapter 19

Reagan's P.O.V.

"Now I'm speechless over the edge, I'm just breathless

I never thought that I'd catch this lovebug again

Now I'm hopeless, head over heels in the moment

I never thought that I'd get hit by this lovebug again

Oh! Love bug again."

I wake up to Liam singing. He's playing with my hair and smiling down at me. "Good morning gorgeous." He says. I blush and smile. "Good mornin perfect." I say back. He kisses me lightly and I sit up next to him. I put my head on his shoulder and he wraps an arm around me.

"How are you feeling?" Liam asks me. "Amazing." I say winking up at him. He chuckles. "It was pretty spectacular." He agrees. I blush. Liam strokes my hair and hums in my ear.

I drum my fingers against his bare chest and smile up at him. He swiftly kisses me and stands up to get dressed. I follow suit. Putting on some shorts and a hoodie I follow him out of our room to the kitchen.

He pours us both some cereal and we sit at the table eating quietly. "Hey guess what?" Liam says starting a conversation. "What?" I ask curious. "Hi." He sas grinning cheekily. "Hello." I say back giggling.

"You really are like a puppy dog." I comment. He shrugs his shoulders. "I try very hard," he says winking. I laugh and go to put our bowls in the sink.

"What do ya want to do?" Liam asks me, hugging me from behind. Butterflies erupt through my stomach. "I dunno." I hum back. He kisses my neck and then spins me around. He kisses my nose before throwing me over his shoulder! "Ahh!" I squeak startled. He chuckles carrying me outside.

"Ooh and adventure!" I yell from behind his back. He laughs and keeps walking. He puts me in the passenger side of his car and shuts the door walkin to the drivers side. He climbs in and starts the car.

Liam drives off and I watch the scenery go by. "Where are we going?" I ask. "You'll see." He says smiling. He stops by the park and I look at him confused. "The park?" I ask. He shakes his head. He helps me out and grabs my hand leading me through the trees at the back of the park.

"Liam where are you taking me?" I demand. "Somewhere!" He says back sternly. I sigh and look up at the sky slowly trailing behind him. The sky is covered in dark clouds. It's gonna rain soon.

I look back in front of me and see that Liam is gone. "Liam! Leeyum!!?" I call out. No answer. I wander around the forest lookin everywhere for Liam with no such luck. After about 20 minuets I sit down on a nearby log.

"Why would he lead me here and then just ditch me?" I ask myself. "Ugh." I scowl. "What is this place anyway?" I ask to no one in particular. I look aroun and see and small pond a few feet away. The hell? When did that get there. I stand up and walk over to it.

Crouching down I peer into the water. I see my own reflection staring back at me.

*snap*

I turn around swiftly hearing twigs snap. "Hello?" No one is behind me. "Who's there?" I ask legitimately scared now. I walk towards the sound lookin around.

A hand clamps around my mouth an another pulls me back by my waist. "AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" I scream bloody murder at the top of my lungs and bit the persons hand that's over my mouth. I wiggle out of their grip and run off.

I run through the woods searching for the car but with no hope. I pass stumps and logs going in circles. I everntually stop to catch my breath and sit down on a log to catch my breath. "Reagan?" I hear Liam call. I start hyperventalating and break down crying.

"Reagan!" Liam yells running over to me. He crouches down beside me and hold me in his arms. I sob into his shirt. "I've been looking for you for ages!" He exclaims after I have calmed down. "I be been looking for you!" I yell back.

"I was walking along with you trailing behind when I reach our destination and see that you're gone." Liam explains. "I was observing the sky and when I looke I front of me you were gone!" I explain my side.

"I'm so sorry I left you!" He says hugging me close to his chest. "I heard a scream. What happened?" He asks worry in his eyes. I tear up thinking about it. "I w-was searching for y-you when I found a p-pond." I start stuttering. "T-then I heard a n-noise and t-t-turned around to f-find out what it was. That's w-when someone grabbe m-me from b-behind." I explain breaking down.

"I-I b-bit down on h-his hand and ran off as f-fast as I could." I finish crying into his chest again. "Shhhh." Liam whispers rocking me back and forth. "I'm here now."

I calm down again and look up at him. "I'm scared." I whisper. He pulls me tight to his chest. "I won't let anyone hurt you." He whispers kissing me softly. "Lets go." He says standing up and then picking me up bridal style.

I hang on to his neck as he navigates his way through the forest. "Where were you takin me anyway?" I ask cutting the silence. "I was gonna take you to a place my dad used to take me as a kid." He says. "It was a plac that always cheered me up when I was having a bad day." He says smiling at the memory.

I smile seeing him smile.

*BOOM*

I jump at the sound of thunder and rain comes pouring down. He starts laughing and sets me down to dance in the rain.

I watch him for a minute before joining him. I twirl around in the rain laughin and singing with Liam. This made me completely forget about the earlier events. I felt happy.

Makeshift routines formed as we danced in the rain. Our moves corresponding to the thunder and lightning. The moment was perfect. I jumped and twirled slipping. I yelped and fell onto Liam knocking him to the ground.

Covered in mud and water we both started laughing. When we stopped I foun him staring at me. "Liam?" I say waving a hand in front of his face. He doesn't respond. I look at him weird.

He cups my face with one hand and leans foward. A light bulb goes off in my head and I lean foward too. Our lips connect and I feel a rush. Water putting down on us making me shiver. Liam's touch electrifying my senses. Thunder goes off in the background and our lips slip around wet with rain.

I scoot up closer to him and he wraps his arms around my waist pulling me closer. I run my fingers through his wet hair and he deepens the kiss biting on my bottom lip making me go crazy.

I pull away and stare at him in awe. I just had my perfect kiss in the rain.

He smiles at me starstruck. I smash my lips to his again catching him off guard. He smiles in the kiss and I lay him down on the ground. Pulling away I smirk down at him. He smiles up at me and I lay my chin down on his chest.

I look at him and trace the water droplets on his face with my finger. He smiles at me and we exchange words without speaking. He kisses me sweetly everyone and then making me blush. I eventually lay my head all the way down on his chest and listen to the steady beat of his heart.

The rain starts to let up and he sits up holding me. Half asleep he guides me onto his back and I hang on to his neck as he carries me back to the car. He sits me in the passenger seat and drives us home.

Laying me down on the couch he brings me a towel and some chocolate milk. I smile and thank him. He then pops some pop corn and returns putting Princess and The Frog in te DVD player before cuddling up next to me on the couch. I lean my head on his shoulder and watch the movie with him while munching on popcorn.

We sing along with the movie and just talk about everything.

Love, life, cats, food, secrets... You name it. After the movie ended we continued talking. I told him some of my secrets and he told me his. We got to know each other more if that's even possible.

I eventually fell asleep to the sound of his voice.
