By the time the hairstylist was done blow drying, Demi had different thoughts. It wasn’t bad, Demi just felt like it wasn’t her, but that’s what she wanted. She wanted to look Latina for Mr. Valderrama.

It was a really dark black. “You like it?” the hairstylist ran her hands through Demi’s hair. Hopefully it would grow on her.  “Yeah, I love it.” she got her apron off and gave it to the worker. “You can go change.”

Demi went to the bathroom to take off the gown they made you wear and got her shirt back on. Demi walked out to pay.

It was a lot of money since it was a trim and color. She left the salon and got back in Dallas’ car. Dallas stayed in the car since her ex boyfriend worked at the salon, but he didn’t work today.

“Why are you so smiley today?” Demi looked at her sister, being extra gritty right now. “I got an interview tomorrow!” her sister clapped. “Congrats! Where at?”

“Sweet Frog Frozen Yogurt!” Dallas was excited. Demi knew this job wouldn’t help her get a house, but if this made her sister happy, she’s happy for her. “Awesome! Now I can get free yogurt anytime!”

“Once a week.” Dallas gave her a glare. Dallas drove off from the salon and drove to a clothes store that she thinks Demi would like.

Demi left the clothing store bags full of skirts, shirts, jeans, and shoes. She felt good about herself.

When they got back home, dinner was ready for them. It was Demi’s favorite meal, so she ate it all up,then she went to her bedroom to do her homework that her english teacher gave her.

Sadly, there was no time to read a book. Demi fell right to sleep after she finished her homework.

The next day, Demi rushed down her breakfast and getting ready for school. She threw on a red and black plaid skater skirt with a matching red bralet top.  She had on tights under the skirt of course with her new black combat boots. She slipped on a black cape. She knew her parents would allow her to leave school showing her arms and legs.

She did her make up and hair. She was ready for school. “Bye mom. Bye Eddie.” Demi grabbed her bag and rushed to bus.

Demi couldn’t wait until it was 3rd block. She kept thinking about him during class. It wasn’t right for her to feel like this over a teacher. He could get fired over this and she could get in trouble for this as well.

3rd block rolled around and Demi was the first one to get in class. “How you

doing,Miss Lovato?” Wilmer looked up from his desk.

“I’m doing okay. How bout you?” Demi gave him a soft smile. He took off his glasses and laid them on his desk. He got up. “I’m well. Do you know what you’re doing in this class?” he leaned against the wall close to Demi.

“I think I can catch up..” Demi tried to avoid eye contact.

“You sure? I’m willing to stay after school to help you catch up.” Wilmer crossed his

arms, he was so buff. Demi thought to herself. Does she want to be tutored by Mr. Valderrama? A time by herself with him?

“Yeah,sure..I’d like that.” Demi fiddled with her pencil, making her drop it. Wilmer bent down to get it. “Thanks.”

“So I’ll see you here at 3:30?” Demi nodded her head yes and he went outside of his classroom. Demi was left with excitement.

After 3rd block was over, Demi went to lunch with Selena and her friends.  Selena’s friends were fun to be around, but they seemed like it was Demi’s type of friends. Nick and Joe especially. They kept talking about parties and girls.

After lunch was fourth, which meant school was coming to an end and she got to stay with  Wilmer.

Fourth block felt like it took hours to end for Demi.

Before going to Mr. Valderrama’s class, Demi went to the bathroom to fix her hair.

“Hello,Demi.” Wilmer put his chalk down when Demi walked into the room, “Hi.” she sat down on the front desk. “Did you do something to your hair?”

She nodded, “I like it. Looks good.” Wilmer complimented. Her heart did flips. “Thank you.”

Wilmer did his magic and helped Demi understand Algebra II a bit better, even though she really didn’t need help. Demi was working on some work when her phone went off.

“Sorry! I can’t pick you up! My interview is running over! Try getting mom to pick you up!” Dallas texted he.

“Oh no.” Demi sighed, making Wilmer turn around from the board. “What’s the matter?”

“My sister can’t pick me up. I have no way home now..” Demi put her pencil down.

“I’ll take you home.” Wilmer volunteered. Demi was shocked, but she began to like him even more.
