Chapter 8 Earth Soldiers on the Ground Part 3

Outside the Mayor's house

Outside the Mayor's house, Jared, Cartoonz, and Ohmwrecker are in a good defensive barricade, Jared was in the center, Cartoonz on the right, and Ohmwrecker on the left. They are firing at the massive number of Grimm that are surrounding them. They manage to kill a lot of them but more Grimm keeps coming at them.

Cartoonz: Fucking Grimm!! These freaks don't learn to quit!!!

Ohmwrecker: Just keep firing!!! Jaune and Delirious will be here with backup! Just hold them off a little longer!!!

They keep on firing at the massive numbers of Grimm. One of them was near to Jared and it was about to kill him but Jared manages to kill it when he quickly turns towards it and shot it in the head. He was about to shoot but soon he hears a clicking sound. Jared ejects the mag from his G36 and was about to get a new one. He places the mag in the gun and pulls its charging handle.

Jared: I'm down to the last mag!!

Ohmwrecker keeps on firing at the Grimm and kills some of them but soon his M39 Enhanced Marksman Rifle made a clicking sound. He was about to reach his mag holster where it holds mags but soon he sees that his holster mag was empty.  Realized that he was out of ammo for his rifle.

Ohmwrecker: I'm out!!

He straps his rifle around and pulls out his USP handgun then continues firing.

Cartoonz keeps shooting at the Grimm with his M240 but as he is obliterating them, as he gets more kills from the Grimm, his gun stopped firing as it got jammed.

Cartoonz: Oh fuck, don't jam me now!!!!

Cartoonz pulls the charging handle of the machine gun as he is trying to fix but soon 1 Beowolf was getting close to him ad was going to kill him but Cartoonz notices it quickly as he lifts his machine gun up and throws it at the closes Beowolf. The Beowolf got pushed back from the thrown gun and it gives Cartoonz enough time to bring out his AK-200 and shoots at the Beowolf, killing it in the process.

The three soldiers still keep on firing at the horde but soon more Grimm is charging toward them and is getting close to them. But the 3 soldiers were not retreating as they kept on firing at the Grimm, killing as many as possible.

The Villagers inside the mayor's house watch the soldiers from the widow, some are scared, some are protecting the children, some don't want to go out there, and some are injured. 7 villagers that are inspired by the soldiers, are finding weapons around the house as they want to help the soldiers but only find nothing but they are not giving up searching.

Cartoonz keeps on firing at the Grimm but when he is out of bullets, he uses his rifle as a melee weapon and hits the approaching Grimm that comes close to him.

Ohmwrecker pulls out his knife and readies himself for any Grimm that is very close to him.

 Jared continues firing but now he hears a clicking sound from his G36, realizing that his rifle is out, he switches his rifle to his M1911 pistol and readies for a Grimm that is approaching him.

Just as the Grimm was about to kill him and Jared was about to shoot it, the creature suddenly got headshot from the back, it falls backward and dies to ashes. Jared looks from the distance and saw Jaune, H2O Delirious, and the Militia arrives to help them.

The last few remaining Grimm turned around and saw Jaune and his forces coming in, they now ignore Jared and his team as they are now gonna attack Jaune, H2O Delirious, and the Militia. As the horde of Grimm charges toward them, the Militia were about to attack them but Jaune stops them as he planned something to get rid of the Grimm easily without wasting more ammo and costing the Militia's energy. He looks at H20 Delirious and shares the plan.
