Tommy made it back to the apartment without the three men following him all the way home. He shoved the key into the lock of the door, proceeding to turn it, giving him the nice click he liked hearing at the end of the day.He dropped his bag onto the sofa, slumping down next to it. He opened the bag quietly, taking the 2 discs out and staring down at them. ' Mellohi ' looked as if the white stripes were glowing.
He looked over to the green disc, ' Cat ', and it slightly glowed. He stuffed it in his bag as he saw a purple glow in the corner of his eye.
He took a shaky breath as he turned back to 'Mellohi' and stared as the purple reflected off his eyes.
Tommy grabbed his bag, closed it, and stuffed it next to the bedroom door. Through the small crack of the door, he saw a few purple particles and a tall figure standing in the room. As he started creeping up to the door, the figure disappeared in the purple poof of the particles that he saw the seconds earlier.
Staring wide eyed through the crack of the door, he refrained from placing the bag near that door and went back to where he was sat. He gripped the disc, Mellohi, and also shoved it in his bag.
Tommy sat arm through one of his bag straps, rethinking every event of the day.
A few minutes later he snapped back as the news caught his attention.
" THE TWO NEW VIGILANTES SPOTTED IN THE ALLEYWAY NEAR CAPTAINS COFFEE. "Tommy stared, wide-eyed. ' W-What.. ' He told himself a few years ago he didn't want to get involved with stuff like this. The Villains and Heroism, he never wanted to get involved yet here he was. Vigilantes right outside his newish job, the café.
"No this can't be. F**kin' 'ell. " Tommy muttered staring at the screen. Somewhat. His eyes slowly closed, as the whole day of work was so tiring - including the three customers, Philza, Wilbur, and Techno (from what he'd remembered). The café was busy but he did choose to work differently than normal.
-----------------------------------
Tommy lost the battle of staying awake with himself. He woke up to slight knocks on the door, followed by a click of the lock.
Tubbo and Ranboo walked in quietly, being mindful of Tommy possibly being asleep.
When Tubbo had a quick scan of the apartment, he saw Tommy was awaken by them and now glaring at them.
"I was having a nice sleep, Big Man. " Tommy spoke quite quietly for him.
Tubbo followed, " Sorry King. Didn't mean to wake you up! " He sounded quite cheery."Why do you sound so happy anyway, Tubs?" Tommy shuffled about, sitting up comfortably.
Tubbo paused, as if thinking. "Uhmmm... err... me and Ranboo, we got to do the last bit of our shift together. It was fun! " Tubbo quickly made up an excuse. Ranboo slightly tilted his head, confused, yet just went along with it.
"Right..." Tommy replied, skeptical.
Tubbo had been around Ranboo more than ever after they'd met him. Maybe it was to be nice, as Ranboo had memory issues? Or maybe Tubbo just preferred Ranboo over Tommy?
" What time is it anyway, that you two are having shifts this late? " Tommy glared at Ranboo. He knew Tubbo would most likely answer but he wanted to hear Ranboo reply. Ranboo barely spoke to Tommy, as if he trusted Tubbo more.
However, Tommy was the one that found Ranboo on the streets when they were moving into their first apartment. It had been two years since then, and Ranboo was growing closer and closer to Tubbo than Tommy.
