"Let's go that way, I'm sure we can cover plenty of ground before sundown." I said as I pointed in one direction.
"I-If you insist." Noelle sighed as she followed me. Her face was red for some unknown reason but whatever.

We kept walking and after hours and hours of searching, we still never found any evidence of the theft. "I'm... tired and hungry. Would you like to stop somewhere?" I asked with a yawn.
"I'm tired too, but what about your grimoire?" Noelle asked in response.
"Oh, don't worry. We have the rest of the Black Bulls and some Kingdom representatives on the search as we speak, right? It should be fine."
"If you say so."
"I might know a good place where we could get something to eat." I smirked.
~*~
"Seriously? This was your 'grand idea'?" Noelle crossed her arms.
"C'mon! It's good!" I encouraged.
We were both standing in front of a tato stand. What was even better was that the tatoes were already cooked! Noelle didn't look pleased.
"Could we go somewhere else by chance? I'm royalty and shouldn't be eating peasant food."
"Awww but you didn't give it a try yet, Noelle! C'mon, at least try it. If you don't like it, then we could go somewhere else." I told her.
"F-fine, but it's your fault if it ruins my taste-buds!" She pouted.
"How many would you like?" The old person selling the tatoes asked.
"Six." I requested.
"Fifteen yul,"
"Alright!" I brought out my money pouch and counted fifteen yul and handed it to the old lady. She then handed me six of the small, cooked tatoes.
"Thanks! Here!" I handed Noelle a cooked tato.
"Okay, here goes nothing." I heard her whisper. She bit into it. Her cheeks then flushed a bit pink.
"So...? How'd you like it?" I asked.
"It's really goo– um, I mean, I guess I can eat this for now before we continue on our mission. It's... um... nothing compared to royalty food, but it'll do." Noelle flicked her ponytail over her shoulder.
"Haha I knew you would like it!" I said.
"Come again!" The old lady said as we both began to leave the stand.
"Will do!" I responded as Noelle and I were walking as we ate the tatoes.
We both eventually ended up in what I remembered was Saussy village. "Oh, I remember this place! It's where we had our first mission together! I remember it's near the village where Magna's from."
"Yeah, I remember. Maybe we should investigate there." Noelle suggested.
"Yep! C'mon!" I grabbed her arm and ran.
"H-hey, you idiot! I'm royalty, you know!" She yelled.
"Yes, I know but we have to get going and investigate every village we can until we find something!"
"Y-you're right– but take it slow at least!"
"Fine, fine," I let go of her arm. "But you have to be quick!" I said as I ran towards the village.
"Hey! Wait up!" Noelle said as she ran after me.
I stopped as I reached the entrance. "Here,"
Noelle was bent down, panting as she slowly caught up with me. "C-could you have slowed down at least?"
"No time to slow down. We need to find my grimoire and who stole it!"
"Great. I wish at least one of us can fly a broom... I really don't want to be running everywhere around the Forsaken Realm with our bare legs... The Realm is huge and we can't keep running forever. My legs are sore."
"Look, I know it's hard, but complaining isn't going to help us. Let's get into the village, shall we?"
"Y-You idiot..."
"That's all I needed! Now, c'mon!" I said as I began walking on the path that led to the village's center.
Noelle sighed and followed directly behind me.
I stopped, causing Noelle to crash into me. "Hey! What's with the sudden pause, you cretin?!" Her face was red.
"Look!" I pointed at a barrier made out of flame magic. "It's around the entire village like it's trying to keep us from going through."
"I didn't know flame magic could create a barrier like that. Whoever made it must be talented to be able to make a barrier out of it, let alone around a whole village." Noelle's eyes widened.
"Something happened here. Villains are usually after the weaker people of the Forsaken Realm. No wonder there's a barrier here made out of magic like on our first mission here."
"Yeah, peasant, it's made of magic so you should be able to cut it with your anti-magic!"
"My grimoire was stolen, remember?"
"Oh, yeah, right. I forgot. So does that mean there's no way to get in?"
"HEY, NOELLE!"
"What? And I'm right beside you so you don't need to yell my name."
"You have water magic, right?"
"Yeah? Wait... you might be onto something. But am I really powerful enough to break a barrier spell?"
"Maybe. We can always give it a shot. Flame magic's weakness is water magic so it can work if you try."
"Okay, but I'm not the one to blame if this fails!" Noelle unleashed an overwhelming amount of her water magic and aimed her wand at the barrier. "Water Creation Magic: Sea Dragon's Roar!!"
The barrier wouldn't go out, so Noelle kept pushing loads of her magic into it after her Sea Dragon's Roar spell. "You can do it, Noelle!" I chanted.
"Be quiet, okay?!" Noelle yelled as she kept using sheer force as an effort to put out the flame barrier.
"Keep going...!"
"I said be quiet and let me focus!" She pushed her magic harder and it began to weaken the flames. She's doing it!
Eventually, she finally put out the barrier. "See? I knew you could do it, Noelle!"
She flicked her ponytail across her shoulder. "Well, I am royalty, after all." She may still act that way, but I could tell that she was also very happy that she did it.
We walked into the village, until we saw familiar bodies laying on the ground, covered in blood. "Wha...?" I stared with wide eyes.
Then there was an unknown voice. "Weaklings. All of you magic knights are nothing but weaklings."
