"Weaklings. All of you magic knights are nothing but weaklings."

"Huh...? This... can't be. There's no way." I was staring at the two bodies on the ground. "Magna... Luck..." I widened my eyes as I looked at the guy who stood there with his minions. "Who... is that guy?" He defeated my superiors!

The man slipped his sword back in his scabbard. A sword fighter? His sword appeared to be stained with blood. "That was too easy. It pains me to see you suffer, but therefore I have no choice. Anyone who can't win against me shouldn't deserve to have a place in this world."

Magna stood up slowly. Him and Luck were covered in blood and looked badly hurt. "I... can't let you... destroy this village."

Luck began standing up slowly as well. "The fight was... just getting good. I won't let you call it off so quickly."

"Are those two crazy?! They can barely stand and they're challenging him?!" Noelle gasped.

"I need to fight him." I said.

Noelle looked over to me with a terrified expression on her face. "Are you crazy?! That guy almost killed two of our superiors at once and you don't even have your grimoire, remember?! He even has minions with him so you and I alone will never stand a chance!"

"I know. But there must be something I can do. I'm not going to just stand here and watch my superiors get torn apart!" I told her.

"F-fine... do what you wish. But you better not get torn apart along with them."

"I won't!" I then walked forward, grabbed a stick, and threw it at the evil dude. "Hey! Over here! Leave those two alone!"

"Another nuisance?" The villain responded.

Both Magna and Luck turned around to look at me. "You– what... are you doing here?! You don't... have a grimoire...!" Magna panted. I could see both of their faces now. They were covered in blood along with bruises. They were in a horrible condition.

"I may not be able to use my anti-magic now, but I can't watch you two die!" I said.

"You're joking... right?" Magna asked with a pant. "Don't you... think that... you're taking it... a little far... right now?"

"Not at all." I replied.

"This fight... was getting fun." Luck breathed out. "It's not over yet!"

"All of you are nuts!" Noelle exclaimed.

"Noelle, either help me or don't. Either way, I'll try to crush this guy." I told her.

Noelle's eyes widened. "But you obviously don't stand a chance even if I join you!"

"I know I don't. But we have to try at least. We can't just give no effort." I assured.

"Never fear Charmy Pappitson's heeeerrreee~" Charmy fell into the scene with loads of cotton following her.

"Ch-charmy–!!" Grey said as she also fell.

"Huh?! WHERE DID YOU GUYS COME FROM?!" I asked.

"W-we were i-i-investigating the C-Common Realm– but t-then accidentally w-wandered into the F-Forsaken Realm and f-found you g-guys h-here..." Grey said shyly.

"NOW WHERE ARE THE NOMS?! I COULD'VE SWORN I SAW SOME TASTY-LOOKING ONES HERE!" Charmy yelled.

"No wonder you guys got lost." Noelle rolled her eyes.

"Don't tell me there's more of you." The villain said. "No matter how many of you there are, power doesn't come from numbers. My minions and I will defeat you!" He brought his sword back out of his scabbard and held it in front of him.

"I... can't... hold... much longer." Magna breathed out as he fell to the ground.

"This... can't... end." Luck breathed as he collapsed as well.

"Mister Magna! Luck!" I yelled.

"Obviously, they can't fight anymore. They're hurt too badly. We should've gotten here earlier." Noelle said.

"But it's not my fault that neither of us can fly a broom!" I told her.

"Yes it is."

"HOW?!"

"Let's just hope that their condition isn't life-threatening." Noelle sighed.

I grabbed a few more sticks and threw it at the man. The villain looked annoyed. "So you can't use magic, huh? Pathetic." He zoomed up to me and used his sword to cut me on my side. I let out a little yelp.

"Asta!" Noelle yelled. "Alright, that's it! Water Creation Magic: Sea Dragon's Roar!" She held her wand at the man as loads of water spawned at the tip of it, forming a big dragon made out of water. It rapidly shot towards the villain. It hit him, but it had almost no effect. It appears he has created an invisible barrier around himself. What magic does this guy even have?!

"You're probably wondering what magic I have." The villain said. How did he know?! "I have wind magic and I can create wind barriers. I hardly have many wind attack spells, which is why I use this sword to help me. I trained for years with this sword. I have learned to use them both effectively. You're never going to defeat me."

"Now that's oddly explained." Noelle rolled her eyes.

"WE CAN'T COMPETE WITH THAT!!!" I yelled. "Unless we surpass our limits...?"

"Anyways, since these two are still alive, why don't I finish them off first?!" The villain said as he directed his sword at Luck and Magna, who were collapsed on the floor from pain.

"WAIT, DON'T DO IT!!!" I yelled.

"And what do you think you're doing?!" Charmy's fierce voice appeared behind me.

"Miz Charmy?!" I stared in surprise. I never thought she would be fighting for something else other than her food!

"HE'S CLEARLY AIMING FOR THE FOOD! THAT'S WHY HE'S TRYNA BE TOUGH AGAINST US!" Charmy yelled. 'Yep, I knew it' seemed to be what we all were thinking at that moment.

"Huh? You clearly don't understand my intention, don't you?" The villain said. "I'm trying to destroy this village, starting with you magic knights." He looked like he was about to slash Magna and Luck in order to kill them. "After this, you guys are next." He was about to swing his sword at them.

"NO–!" I yelled.

"And what do you think you're doing?" Said a familiar voice as the villain's sword was held still by magical threads.

"You're... not going... to get away... with this." Said another familiar voice with a pant.
