Welcome, potential readers! Thanks for choosing to read Maurice! I haven't participate in the ONC since it's debut year so I'm excited to be back!

After multiple failed attempts at getting an ONC story work, I settled on a really weird dream I had a while back, and adjusted it to the prompt. Although there are a few prompts that may appear over the course of the story, the main ONC prompt is as follows:

#29: The zombie apocalypse has been and gone, and those remaining zombies are hunted like wild animals. A new organisation steps in, looking to protect the creatures.

Although this story will lean towards humorous, it will allude to multiple darker themes and possible triggers. Such topics may include graphic violence, gore, injuries, decapitation, themes of depression, themes of racism, themes of misogyny, self-inflicted harm, strong language, and angst. More will be added if something comes up, and I'll put it at the top of each chapter when it does.
