I walk up to the 4 graves.
I can't believe after 77 years of knowing each other all my best friends and husband are dead. Calum was the last to go of the 4, just last week.
Sometimes I still see some of the old fans coming to the graves. I miss them all so much.
"Grandma?" My 17 year old granddaughter, Sophie asks.
"Yes," I say.
" Can I hear the stories of you and grandpa?"
"Why don't you hear the stories of grandpa, our best friends and I."
"Okay."
"Which story first?"
"When you guys met."
"Ok so I was 14 years old and it was 2011-
*Flashback*
I'm so nervous for my first day of school. It's my first year of high school and I'm going to a school on the other side of the earth. "Honey your gonna be late!" I hear my mom yell.
"Coming!" I yell back. I run downstairs all ready. "Can I eat in the car?"
"Sure I got your breakfast ready and packed your lunch."
"Mom, how many times do I have to tell you? I'm 14 I can make my own lunch."
"I know." I sigh and grab my lunch box, cereal in the cup, and my violin. Along with my bag on my back. I run into the garage and open the back door of the car and put all my stuff, besides my cereal, back there. I go up and got in the passenger seat.
After a little bit my mom comes out and drives me to school. I finish my cereal and soon enough I'm at school. "Bye mom I love you," I say
"I love you too sweetie have a good day!" She says. I run to the back of the car and grab all my stuff quickly.
Once I have all my stuff I go inside. I immediately go to the office. "Hi Skylar Brooks."
"Oh your the transfer student from America. Hi!" the office lady said. "Here is your schedule, your locker number and you can put your violin in the orchestra room."
"Thank you," I said. I grabbed the stuff from her hand and tried to locate the orchestra room. After like five minutes I finally found it. I'm surprised I did that myself.
I enter the orchestra room and see the teacher. "Hi I'm Skylar, the new student."
"Hi I'm Mr. Robertson!" He said. "You can put your violin in the storage room right back there. There should be a slot with your name on it." I go back to the storage room and look for a slot. Sure enough there is a slot with my name on it. I pick my violin up and put it in there.
I exit the room and mumble a thanks to Mr. Robertson. Then I leave the orchestra room. I look around for my locker and finally spot it. I hurry up and open it. As I'm putting my stuff in there a boy around my age walks up to the locker and I look up.
*Flashback Over*
"Now at that moment I didn't know he would be your grandpa," I said.
"Grandma please tell me more," Sophie begs.
"I will when we get home."
