Chapter Two

A couple months have past and it's around Christmas time. Kirito and Asuna have become closer and have been leveling up and earned themselves nicknames. Kirito walked into their apartment and greeted Asuna " I just talked to Argo, she told me that a boss will spawn under a Christmas tree and drop a revival item " he explained " oh really " Asuna asked surprised " yeah I was thinking we should get it " he told her " I guess it could a helpful item to have " she said and started cooking " at first I wanted to revive Sachi but now I realize that sh0e0 wouldn't want me to use it on her but rather save it for when I really need it " he said as he took of his equipment " yeah that makes since " she said, then put the food I the oven " by the way dinner is almost over " she told and Kirito immediately had a giant grim on his face " I can't wait to eat know knowing you cooked the food " he exclaimed excitedly causing Asuna to blush " th-thanks " she nervously replied. They sat down and ate and discussed their plan for the boss.

They were currently traveling through the snow nearing the location where the boss is supposed to spawn. Both of them were wearing winter coats( Kirito's is black and Asuna's is white) when they heard rustling behind them " guess you followed us huh Klein " Kirito said " yeah I didn't want you doing something reckless but it seems your in good hands " he said nodding in Asuna's direction " yeah I have been taking good care of him Asuna said while all the boys were staring at her making her slightly uncomfortable. Before they could continue their conversation another guild appeared " guess you were followed as well " Kirito said grabbing the hilt of his sword, Asuna doing the same with her rapier " you guys go on we'll hold them off " Klein told them " Thanks it really means a lot " Kirito said before running off Asuna closely following him.

After they defeated the boss they just went home to rest. The next few months flew by and before knew it they were catching feelings for each other. Asuna was starting to become aware of it but Kirito was oblivious to it. After they rescued a girl named silica they decided to help her revive her dragon. They then came across a woman named Rosalia, they were hunting her down so they were glad their plan was working.

Asuna pov:

As Kirito finished explaining the plan for tomorrow we went back to our rooms, except Kirito and I were sharing a room. There was one bed so Kirito was sleeping on the couch " you sure you want to sleep on the couch " I asked him " yeah it's fine, plus it would be impolite to have you sleep on the couch " he told me.  A thought came to my mind so I took a risk " If you want to you uhh " I started to nervously fiddling with my fingers " you we could share the " I than said to it came out very quiet " uhh w- what " Kirito said to I could see him blush " I mean there is enough and it's more comfortable then the couch " I explained though I feel my face heat up " sure if it's ok with you " he said as got up " its fine with me " I told before laying down and closing my eyes. I could feel get under the covers and my face was getting hotter and hotter " goodnight Asuna " he said " goodnight Kirito " I said then drifting of to sleep.

The next morning I got up and prepared lunch for myself and the others. Afterwards I got ready for the day and sat in the living waiting on Kirito. Half an hour later he came out of our room fully dressed " let's go meet Silica-chan downstairs Kirito-kun " I said using my new affectionate name for him " alright " is all he said before gesturing me to follow him. After meeting up with Silica-chan we went to floor 47. This floor is beautiful with a lot of flowers, though mostly couples go here. Just thinking that made me look at Kirito as he was watching Silica-chan take in the environment. We walked together fighting of a few monsters until we finally found the flower. On our way Kirito called out titan hand and dealt with them. Afterwards we told Silica-chan the truth and bid her goodbye " well that was a crazy day " I said to Kirito " yeah but one of theses days we should go there again " he told me " definitely " I said " wanna go eat dinner at that restaurant on floor 50 I heard it's really good " he asked me " sure it's a date then " I exclaimed before grasping his hand and dragging him to the teleport platform " wa- wa-wait what " he stuttered completely flustered " yes your taking me out on a date and your paying " I told him and I couldn't stop giggling " ugh fine " he said triying to sound annoyed though I can see through it as he was smiling " now let's go" and so we left for our first date.
