-I can't believe it. This is your house? - The newborn asks fascinated, looking through the window towards the Cullen household
-Our house. - Edward corrects her while turning the car off
Juliette smiles and both of them exit the car at the same time. Edward helps her with her bags with no problem but she refuses, taking one of them. They begin walking towards the house in which the Cullens are already accommodating all the furniture quickly. Both vampires leave their bags with the rest and separate to start helping the Cullens to put the furniture in place.
-Is it me or do I smell... a human? - Rosalie asks disgusted
Everyone stops what they're doing after hearing her words. The newborn starts smelling, realising that Rosalie's right. It's a... different smell that makes her throat start burning because of her thirst. She closes her eyes strongly, trying to control herself.
-Juliette? - She opens her eyes immediately after hearing Edward
He realises that the blonde girl has her eyes blood red that he recognizes perfectly. He approaches her quickly to take her by the waist she puts her hands covered with gloves on his arms.
-I'm okay, it's just that I'm not used to the smell of human blood or simply of a human. - She explains giving him half a smile - Where's the smell coming from? - She asks Rosalie who disappears for a moment before reappearing in front of her with something on her hands
-She was in Edward's room. - She says angrily while giving her the worn bedsheets. Julliette takes them confused.
-Someone was here while you weren't? - She asks the family who look at each other before looking at Alice who's staring at some point
-Bella's coming. - The pixie haired girl says while looking at Edward
-It was her, she's been spending the night here. - He says firmly
-Who's Bella? - Juliette asks confused, returning the bedsheets and pillow to Rosalie
Rosalie exits the house disgusted to throw both things to the trash before returning to the living room where all the Cullens and Juliette are who's waiting for an answer.
-I think you have to tell her, Edward, before Bella arrives and things get more complicated. - Carlisle says, looking at his son
-Tell me what? Is it something bad? - The blonde girl asks looking at Edward who nods slowly towards his foster father
-We'll be in my room. - All the Cullens nod and continue accommodating the furniture along with a few decorations
Juliette, confused, lets Edward guide her to the third floor where his room is. The newborn stops walking after seeing a certain portrait on the wall.
-Are these gradution caps? - She asks amused looking at each of them that have different colours
-It's an inside joke that you'll probably get in a few years. - Edward says smiling while looking at her who finds herself very busy staring at the giant portrait
He takes her hand again to take her to his empty room that's filled with human scent. Juliette admires the view towards the forest for a few seconds before looking back at him who stays quiet, thinking on how to tell Juliette about Bella.
-So... what did you want to tell me?
-Before I met you and before I knew you were my mate, I had another person. - Edward starts explaining
-So, Bella's your ex-girlfriend who was spending the night in your room while you weren't here. - Juliette says approaching him who nods slowly
-My feelings for her disappeared when I realised the only reason she wanted me was because she wanted to be one of us. So I decided to break up with her. Besides, Alice told me that there's a beautiful girl that's my mate. - He says taking her waist and sticcking her to his chest
-... Maybe she's a beautiful girl that has an ice gift that she still can't control very well and has a father that's desperate to find her. - She says following his game
They give each other a small kiss before separating and let Edward continue with his explanation.
-Wait, does your ex know what you truly are? - She asks after analysing what he said before
-Yes, she was with me because of that, because she wants to be immortal. - Juliette nods but stays quiet for him to continue - Obviously, she didn't take the break up very well and said she was gonna kill herself because of me.
-She wanted to manipulate you so that you'd stay with her. - She says listening him carefully
-My point is that knowing Bella, she won't leave me alone until I come back with her. - Edwrad makes a small pout that Juliette kisses tenderly before talking.
-Do you want to come back with her? - She asks without feeling any fear or worry
-Of course not, I just want to be with you. - He whispers before kissing her
-So, are you gonna tell Bella about whatever we have? Because I don't remember you asking me to be your girlfriend or something like that. - She says after separating from him
-You're right. Juliette Lombard Denali, would you like to be my girlfriend? - Edward asks smiling
-Of course, you took very long. - She says mockingly before kissing him shortly - Okay, are you gonna tell Bella about us?
-Yes, I want to brag that I have a very beautiful partner only I can have. I want to brag how in love we are with each other and there's a small possibility that Bella understands that her and I won't come back. - He says firmly
-Alright, we'll tell her.
-Aren't you angry? - The newborn frowns because of his question.
-Why would I be angry? In fact, thank you for telling me and didn't hide it from me. We all have a past and I don't have the right to get angry with you when you told me. - Edward smiles. And before he could kiss his now partner, they hear someone unknown to Juliette scream
-Alice!

FINALLY I'M BACK IN MY BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY PERU. I got to my grandma's house at like 2 in the morning. HOW AM I NOT EXAUSTED?????
